Sometimes it's gone and it won't appear again. So I can't chat or see my updates or anything. O_o Has this happened to anyone else? Or do you know how to get it back?

Maybe you accidentally hit the "hide" button? It's all the way in the corner on the right side, so if it's minimized, it might look like it's not there at all. Just an idea....
