Do you intelligent FanPoppers think this is fair?

Here's the deal:
My mother thinks I'm ungrateful. Well, I've been having a lot of bad days lately, been kinda moody you could say. Usually I'm really loud and weird and I guess-me lol. But no. So, whenever my mom comes home from work, I try to put on a happy face. But then I think of the unfairness that my mother has placed like:
I can't ride my bike to school until I'm 15 (I live 5 blocks away)
I'm not allowed to wear flip-flops to school, or boots.
I can't go shopping with my friends
And other stuff I choose not to tell you.

Then I remember those stuff and I get all moody again. She has no idea what I go through at school. I'm a little bigger than most of the girls at my school, so I suck in my stomach all the time. Most boys don't like me and I feel so- icky... I hate myself. Low self-esteem. Very low. I just wanna scream my head off and sit in the bathroom stall at school and cry. And when I come out I hope my crush will come and make me feel better. But like I said. Boys don't like me. ;(
And when I come home that's all swirling around in my head. My older bro is moody all the time and she doesn't scream at him.
Can you see my stress?!? There so much more I want to tell y'all but I can't. Right now, anyway.
Could you help me maybe? Advice? Do you see how it's kind of unfair, or is it confusing? Thanks guys. :/

Wow. I kinda feel the same way. Nobody knows how much I wanna disregard all of the rules, drop out, and start rapping. Anyways, I would pull her aside for a minute and try to talk to her about it. Letting it out is (usually) the best way to get it off your chest. Plus, it may also help you bond a littlemore. Hope it helps. :)

Try to get the courage. If you still can't, I suggest listening to the music of this guy. His name is Jonsi and he always lifts my spirits, even when I don't need it. And about the friends issue, do the girls make fun of you? If its not as much as the boys, then try to find a girl with your interests.

No I can't because I tried to tell her I was having mood swings, and she said only crazy people have mood swings. Then she yelled at me and walked away.

i guess i kinda know how it feels.i don't really have any friends at my new school, everyone thinks im mentally unstable cuz i don't talk much and i hate them all.my family treats me like dirt
but i do think its kinda unfair that ur mom is telling you what not to wear.i'd understand stuff like cut-off shorts, shirts that show ur stomach, piercings, etc. but i dont think you should be restrained from wearing boots or flip flops.

Self esteem can be very low in the teen years, try talking to the school counselor or keeping a journal about that if you don't want to talk with it to your mom ...anyway I know it's easier said than done but if you want to have privileges try behaving in ways that will make your mom think you're mature enough to handle these things and then maybe you can earn them.

Okay, I want to say I can identify but I don't. Sorry. I'm one of those girls that can't go out without perfect hair, makeup, and clothes. I have sky high self esteem. But even with that, my parents are quite strict too. My pants have to fit a certain way, my neckline has to be up to a certain point, can't wear too much eyeshadow blah blah blah. I know my problems are SO not as big as yours and I'm not going to say "Have a heart to heart Hallmark moment talk with your mom! Tell her how you feel!" ... Trust me, that doesn't work! The best thing is to accept it. If she can't take it, put a brave face on. Like it doesn't really faze you that she's yelling at you for no reason. Eventually she'll get bored of trying to change you.

& btw, being bigger than most of the girls at school doesn't matter. I'm definitely not a stick and by being myself I get people to like me! So don't worry. Even if guys don't come right out and TELL you they like you, it doesn't matter. Guys never do that. Some guys don't even let you catch them looking. Have you talked to your crush at all?

PS. THIS IS MY OPINION. Haterz gonna hate, but the haterz make me famous :P

Thank u so much! Luv ur answer! Yes I have talked to my crush, he's in almost all of my classes at school. He has a gf, but he called my feet sexy and gave me a hug for no reason. But the sexy feet thing was probably a joke. The story is: I hate wearing shoes. :P So in english the other day, I didn't wear shoes. This one guy said it's nasty, but my crush is like no it's sexy!

Well, then um, DUH he likes you. if not as a girlfriend yet, at least as a friend, sweetie. :) and all the best couples start when the people are actually friends. couples based on nothing but superficial attractions end quickly. so, if you become good friends with him i can see it growing into something big :) believe me!
