How long have you been online and would you have been any different if you never found the major websites you use/have used? How?
Generally speaking, Ive been able to be found daily active online for about 4 maybe 5 years. If you want on and off I was on Webkinz, NeoPets, ClubPenguin, and PokemonCreator like games when I was younger but not for long periods of time and not daily either.
Ive been on Fanpop for 3 years, the rest of the 4/5 years were Smallworlds.
As for how I would have been different, I would probably be very different XD I came to the internet after a huge super-extrovert social phase where a day didnt pass by that I didnt have at least two hours playing with my friends where I became a complete anti-social due to certain circumstances I wont share openly. Though if it werent for the internet, I think I probably would have become a complete shut in and that surely wouldnt have been good.
And there are a lot of other effects but I think thats the earliest end of the chain reaction. *loves the butterfly effect*
Wait. Let me correct something. I came to FANPOP after a huge-extrovert social phase. Smallworlds was a place where me and my old IRL friends played around.
Quite honestly, I occasionally consider my addiction to the internet ((I admit it)) a bad thing that might have cut down my physical activity, but its done so many positive things that I cant really consider it all that bad. In fact, some of my best buddies are here so I can easily say I regret nothing.
