In life, there will always be people that you don't like, that don't like you. But that's one of the challenges in life, being the bigger person, not letting someone else destroy your life.
For instance, there's two students in a class. The first one is attractive, popular. They're a horrible person, yet they have the school wound round their little finger.
The second student however, is the most beautiful person inside. They're intelligent, natural, yet they're unpopular, and don't have a lot of friends.
The teacher has a seating plan, and has put these two students next to eachother. The first one moans bitterly and constantly gives the second student dirty looks, mouthing about them to their friends on the other side of the classroom.
Imagine you're that second student, understanding every cruel signal that they're making. For many victims of bullying, the automatic reaction is to bend over the desk and blink back the tears, burning bright red in the face, wanting to sink through the floor. But, what if you have a choice. You know yourself that you don't want to sit next to this student any more than they want to sit next to you. So why should you be the one cowering away, why should you give them that satisfaction, that power?
It doesn't necessarily mean that you have to start up an argument with them, you can be bigger than that. Instead, you can pity them. You can look them in the eye and raise your eyebrows like they're talking shit, because they are.
You can get on with the work set and ignore their childish behaviour, knowing that they'll suffer in the future.
No one's saying it's easy, but it's possible. It's possible for anyone to do, they just need a little self-belief to remember that they're precious, and the student sitting next to them is nothing but dirt at the bottom of the pile.
Many teenagers go through bullying, teasing, day after day. No one can understand how it feels until you go through it yourself. It hurts more than anyone realizes. But it doesn't have to hurt. If this is you, then you're not alone. Whether you're a guy or a girl, whichever country you come from, I promise you you are not alone. The world isn't against you, and there will always be people thinking of you, even if they have no idea you exist. Some people will be thinking of every person in your situation, and either hoping or praying that you make through it. Because when you get out of school with your great exam results, you'll have all the opportunities in the world.
If your grades are going down because of a situation like this, don't let them. Pluck out a smile from nowhere and ignore those bastards that do their best to make your life a misery. They're not worth it.

Instead, listen to your heart. Because your heart will always be telling you 'Stay strong, keep going. Because someone loves you, someone cares'.
