Of course, she's the only one who really gets to know ranma and love him for who he is. Akane actually forms a relationship with Ranma and gets to know him because she was not just trying to put on a show and
... " be the best girl so he'll choose her."
Although she would fight for him, no shame in that, she didn't treat everything like a competition, where the prize was ranma's heart.

Because she was the only one who was truly genuine, and wasn't trying to manipulate ranma; which ukyo, shampoo, (and nabiki...though she's not really a fiancee) are all guilty of. That's atleast a small fraction of the reason ranma fell for akane in the end.
The sooner Shampoo and Ukyo realize you can not manipulate some one into loving you, the sooner they can find a love of their own.

Akane is the only one who would actually have relationship with Ranma. And probably the only girl who could stand him even at his worse. I'm not even sure how the others would hold up if he treated either of them the same way he treats Akane, and then on top of that Akane still risks her life trying to save him or help him out whenever he's in trouble nomatter how insensitive he is a times.

Both Ranma and Akane are flawed, but they are still stronger together than apart.

Yes , Akane loves Ranma the best , but Shampoo doesn't love Ranma She's with him only because of her Amazon law and Ukyo is engaged to Ranma because her father wanted to .. She was just a kid back then so She don't love him , but Akane at the first place she hated him but after so many scenes between the two she starded to love Ranma and gave up on Tofu , Ranma loves Akane cuz at the first place he didn't hate her but he wanted to know her better so he loved Akane XD (he adimit it at the last chapter of the manga)
