I knew my dad knew about the text from Jacob. Those words 'Im waiting for you, nessie'. They sent a sudden electric flow through my body. The flight there was rather short to me. I was reading Wuthering Heights, a classic love story by Jane Austen. I couldn't enjoy it though knowing that a 20-30 year old man was staring at me like I was a freak. Am i? I wondered how life in Forks would be from know on the longride to Grandpa Charlies house, my mother and father kept exchanging love struck glances at eachother. I wondered about staring Forks High School as dad's cousin. I was to old to be the daughter of a 17 year old who was actually over 100. Dad told me about forks high, so did mum.
I was curious. Jacob still only looked 21. He could pass as a 17 year old but he spent some years in washington college. Strangely Jacob and Grandpa Carlisle got along very well. Jake wanted to be a doctor. He's still working on it. Managing the pack, taking university classes. I remeber Jacob. I was so eager to see him I could jump out of my seat.
Of course I knew dad was hearing evre word I was thinking. He gave me a curious look. I shot back an angry look. 'Sorry dear'. 'Kay dad'. I was finally in Forks. It was so..so.. green.
We pulled up at granpa Charlie's. The house was small as I remember it. Granpa Charlie got told about vampires and wolfs. He was rushed to hospital when he knew the truth. But recovered quickly and adapted to the sitch. I followed mum and dad to the doorstep. Mum still had a house key. She unlocked the door just before it started to rain. Typical in Forks. The lights were off and it was pich black. My mother shouted hello. No awnser. Of course my father knew what was going on he wasjust playing along.
Sunddenly someone tied there hands to my waist tightly but it felt good. He or she pulled me towards them. He or she covered my mouth before I could scream. I knew the touch his hands were warm, infact very warm. His hands were muscular. He whispered in my ear 'Guess who'? The voice was heavenely, so rich and pure. 'heres a clue if you go down to the woods today you may be in for a supriese, the vampires lurk in evrey corney with wolfs by their side'. The rhyme was familiar, it was the ryhme Jacob chanted to me when I was younger. He made it up replacing bears with vampires. Lightning struch my brain I knew who he was. My voice stuttered 'Jacob'.
Then the lights ficked on. It was him. The room froze to me as i gazed at him. He was my best freind but I felt something between... Jacob was muscular and copper skinned lovely and warm. He was gorgeous in a black shirt cafefully sculpting his six pack.
