Twilight VS. Harry Potter War

OMGesus! ok,here's the thing- i love the harry potter books,i love the harry potter films (Maybe cos I'm a londoner like him). I love the twilight books,i like the twilight film(from what i've seen). but i guess what i'm doing is comparing the Harry FILMS (actually mainly the goblet of fire)to twilight BOOKS and that's not right because it's comparing something you've made up in your mind to something someone else has thought of. huge difference.
but i THINK i'm gonna go with Harry Potter. Vampires are cooler but Harry's been with me ALL my life(most of it), and that's a fact I can't ignore. He's helped me through some tough times. I've loved the books and the films since I was 5 yrs old, and I don't ever want to abandon that childhood memory. I dunno if everyone is British here,but if ur not then Harry is like someone you grow up with for the ppl my age, and if I chose Twilight it would feel like leaving all ur childhood and memories and family and friends behind. I'm sorry,but this is something I feel so strongly about. I'm with Harry all the way.

You really shouldn't be starting a war. If you want to debate your point then fine but don't try and make this whole thing worse than it already is. They're completely different things but still, even if Twilight fans fight until they're six feet under, Harry Potter will always win.

Can you please tell me why there should be a war on this? I’m sorry to tell you (do I really have to be actually?), but I DO love both equally, but definitely and obviously not for the same reasons at all! And I’m sure I’m not alone thinking that… The only similarities being the fiction of the extremely well-written stories and the planetary success, it's like comparing apples and oranges. Both delicious fruits but don’t look the same. Both sweet and tangy but don’t taste the same. Do not grow in the same country. Potter and Twilight series are both delicious, sweet and tangy, but our human senses are not treated the same way and on the same level at all. I don’t think I’m wrong by saying that a 6-year old would love Twilight as much as Harry Potter. What goes on between the ears for one does not generate that “something between the legs” the other does. I am very proud to say I will own both complete series, books and DVDs. But I could also say that I’ve never felt the urge to read/watch Potter in the evening and through the night as much as I did for Twilight. To my opinion, Potter is my orange and Twilight my apple. I equally love apples and oranges, but for me, the urge is a lot more easier to calm down by eating an apple... ‘cos I don’t have to peel it. And I can eat as many as I want to without ever get sick.
