Both my son and my daughter were cleaned and healthy and in my arms. I sat beside Renesmee as she slept holding our beautiful babies. They were just perfect. Sara's hands were so tiny laying against my chest. Our baby boy, who we hadn't named, was bigger than Sara but not by much. He had opened his eyes and was now looking up at me with big black eyes, my eyes. Sara was fast asleep. She had lighter skin than me but it was still tan and so did our boy. Her hair was a dark brown color and the boy's was black.

All that was in front of me was darkness; all I could feel was sering pain. I couldn't hear anyone and I didnt know where I was. I wished that I could hear Jacob's voice, hear him telling me I would be alright because at this moment I didnt know. I had convinced myself, and I think Jacob, that I was going to make it out of this just fine but with the pain and darkness I didnt know what was going to happen to me any more. Right now all I wanted was my babies to be safe.

Jacob's POV

All was quiet in the house at this very momment. Nessie was asleep in the room upstairs that she was set up in. Blondie and Emmett went hunting and Alice and Jasper went with them. Bella and Edward were at their house. Carlisle was in his study as Esme was in the kitchen cooking. I was in the front room waiting nervously for Nessie to wake up. Carlisle announced earlier that the babies could come any day now so I was becoming anxious.

"Jacob? " Carlisle called. "Can I speak with you for a minute?"

A couple weeks had gone by and Jacob and I still hadn’t picked out names for our babies so I decided to bring it up one night when we were having dinner.

"Have you thought of any names?" I asked. H looked dumbfounded at me before answering.

"No, have you?"

"Yes. I was thinking that you could name one of the girls and I could name the other?" It was more of a question then a statement.

I was getting tired so I decided to go lie in the bedroom and read a book.

I grabbed my book off the shelf and laid back against the many feathered pillows. I opened my mom's copy of Romeo and Juliet and began reading. it got to quiet in the room and the silence was bothering me so I got up and opened the double doors that lead out to the balcony on the far side of the room.

When I laid back down it was really nice to read and listen to the waves crashing at the bottom of the cliff that the house sat on. The salty sea air filled my bedroom making me remember the moments Jacob...

When I walked into the room and flicked the light switch on, I froze. A surprised, but happy, expression lit my face.

The room was large with a bunch of twinkling white lights stung across the walls and the two windows on either side of the room. There were white curtains with crystals gleaming in the light, hanging on the windows. At one end of the room there was a beautiful, perfectly carved white baby crib. And on the other side of the room was a bed, perfectly carved, like the crib. There were light pink sheets and a large pink comforter covering both beds.

I was surprised by what I was looking...

The next day wasn't like the day before, not saying it was better though. We were at school getting ready to go home.

"Edward? What's your deal? You've been starring at her for the last five minutes." Jasper pointed out as we stood by the car.

I was curled up on the couch with my favorite soft, wool blanket draped over me. The TV was turned on and displaying one of the many commercials during the shows. Jacob had gotten a call from Sam saying that ever since the wedding he hadnt been playing his part as Alpha and that he needed to make a run with his pack for at least a day or two. I could tell by the way Jacob sounded and how he slammed the phone down on the counter, he was not happy.

"Nessie, Im sorry I have to go. With the pack." He had told me in a nervous tone. I nodded my head and smiled reasuringly.

I think I was starting to come back as it wasnt that dark. I still couldn't see anything but I could hear things. I could hear Carlisle and Jacob's muffled tones. I couldn't make out what they were saying just that it was their voices.

It sounded like Jacob was very close to me. I could also hear a faint, arrhythmic beeping sound a couple of feet away from me, if not closer. I could tell that Carlisle was not to far from where Jacob was to me as he sounded close, too.

I walked along the stream that ran next to our house. I was going to jump across it but then decided to follow its watery path.

The forest seemed very peaceful. The birds were chirping every now and then, filling the trees with a bright, cheerful melody. The stream trickled next to me and every now and then a gust of wind would blow lightly around me. I smiled to myself as the sweet familiar scent of the running water blew into my face.
