It’s happening guys! Deadpool is in action as we speak

Ryan Reynolds is kicking some major butt on the set of his new move Deadpool, playing the ultimate anti-hero of the same name. Marvel fans have been losing their minds over the live action picture and after checking out these pictures of the Canadian heart throb we can totally see why.

On Tuesday, the 38-year-old was snapped gunning down the bad guys but on Tuesday, he had a little help from his stint double to slay some thugs with a sword and knife. Although, perhaps Blake Lively will be a little relieved the father of her five-month old baby girl James,  isn’t wielding blades and slashing himself silly during the day job.

Both suited up in the comic book icon’s classic red and black suit, the Hollywood hunk and his temporary twin were papped filming what appears to be one heck of an explosive fight on the city’s Georgia Viaduct Bridge. Eventually Deadpool takes his nemesis down with a bullet between the eyes like a total pro before Ryan was seen performing the heroes legendary victory dance. The previous day he was seen sporting a black hooded ran slicker between takes but still posing like a total bad ass.

Wade Wilson aka Deadpool is a firm favourite with fans of the Marvel Universe. The former Special Forces operative-turned street fighter becomes a superhero after an experiment goes wrong giving him extraordinary healing powers. With his superhuman abilities, he devotes his life to tracking down the villain who ruined is life.

Deadpool first popped up on the big screen in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine alongside Hugh Jackman, promoting fans to protest in their masses for the character’s very own fronted movie. In December, the actor confirmed they got their wish. Deadpool is currently pencilled in for a Valentine’s Day weekend release on February 12. On the exact date this year, Ryan posted a first glimpse of his red and black leather one piece, which suffice to say totally blew up Twitter. We’re expecting BIG things.
