"Sakura was the one to fill his (Sasuke's) lonely existance" words.from Kishimoto's databook. Even though SasuSaku fans cling onto this smugly, I tend to to think this quote isn't quite realistic. Sakura did not fill his loneliness. Sakura only liked him for appearance. (stated in shippuden) Now, Sasuke always thought she was an annoying fangirl. But over sometime, he did start caring for her. He saved and protected her, complimented her, and was there. But the two couldn't bond close because SAKURA doesn't know what loneliness is. She might not even know what love is. You have to remember he WAS GOING TO KILL FOR HER! She was precious but not an equal. Sakura got pissed because she saids "Naruto is ALWAYS in the way between us!" He did say thank you and listened to her confession quietly but knocked her out because she was going to follow.

As the cold night dawned on him, he knew what was going to happen if he got cought. He knew he would die like all the others who have been cought. Twigs breaking,leaves crunching underneath his bare feet and under the hooves of the guards black,red-eyed horses,they were getting closer to him he could feel it. Shouts came from behind him,so the boy picked up his speed,turned left and hid behind a tall,old,black and crooked tree that looked like it had a face on it,a face that looked scared. The tree made him feel uncomfortable so he ran to a old marble statue of a woman...a woman that had a face that looked terrified,and eyes that looked as if they saw something horrifying. Then the barbaroc guards rode by on their horses not seeing the blond,spikey haired boy,when he felt that it was all clear he stepped out of hideing spot and then..."swoosh" something sharp and wooden hit him in the the back. The blond fell to the ground not knowing if he would die or not but when he looked up he saw a teenage boy the same age as him pointing a bow and arrow at him while staring at him with red eyes and then muttering something to the blond that sounded like"You're pathetic".

Come on Sakura-chan! Just one date to Ichiraku?!" As her short, sweet pink hair & glowing green eyes got farther & farther away Naruto slowed down. Just then somebody tapped on his shoulder, it was Iruka-sensei. "Hey Naruto." he said as he smiled. Naruto was a little confused on why Iruka-sensei was there sense he didn't even attend the Ninja Academy anymore. "I actually have a message from Sasuke that he wanted me to give you" he said as he gave Naruto the smaill, crumpled piece of paper. "Good luck Naruto!" Iruka yelled as he started running off to meet Kakashi-sensei. Naruto slowly opened the note "Dear Naruto, meet me by the swing at the Ninja Academy at 12:00 tonight. Please come. Sasuke." Naruto just stood there staring at the mysterious note from his rival. "Why would Sasuke want to meet me there at 12:00?" He asked himslef as he was walking to the Ninja Academy. "It's 11:50." he said to himself just as he got to the Ninja Academy, but he wasn't alone for long because just as he sat...
