And now to begin the story
The train arrives at Appleloosa, and Applejack's family gets off.
Applejack: Yeehaw. I can't wait to go see Braeburn.
Big Macintosh: Eeyup.
Applebloom: What are we going to do?
Applejack: A lot of things Applebloom, but first I need a drink. Y'all get to Braeburns, and I'll go to the saloon.
Big Macintosh: I don't think that sounds fair. We've got to unload everything while you get drunk.
Applejack: I ain't getting drunk, and I promise to help you as soon as I get back.
Big Macintosh: Ok. *Carrying luggage* Come on Applebloom *Walks slowly to Braeburn's*
Applebloom: *Follows Big Macintosh*
Applejack: *Goes to Saloon* Howdy.
Waiter: Applejack, good to see you. What can I do for ya?
Applejack: I'd just like a drink.
Waiter: Ok. *Filling glass with cider* But you better be careful. The Flim Flam brothers are here. They've been trying to steal your cousin's orchard.
Applejack: They have?
Waiter: Yeah. Poor Braeburn don't know what he's gettin' himself into. *Puts drink in front of Applejack*
Applejack: *Takes drink* I'll deal with them myself. Thanks for telling me *Drinks cider*
When Applebloom, and Big Macintosh arrived at Braeburn's orchard they were in for a surprise.
Flim: *Talking to Braeburn*
Flam: *Looking for intruders*
Applebloom: Are those the Flim Flam brothers?
Big Macintosh: Eeyup.
Applebloom: Do you know why they're hear?
Big Macintosh: Nope.
Applejack: *Rushes to Big Macintosh* Hey. Did you see the Flim Flam brothers anywhere?
Big Macintosh: Eeyup.
Applebloom: They're on Braeburn's orchard.
Applejack: Not on my watch *Runs quickly to Braeburn*
Braeburn: No matter what y'all say, I won't sell this orchard to you.
Flim: Then you're done for.
Flam: Hey! Applejack is coming towards us.
Flim: Then what are you waiting for? Shoot her!
Flam: *Fires gun*
Applejack: *Dodges bullet*
Flam: *reloading*
Applejack: *punches Flam* You leave my cousin alone! Understand?
Flim: Let's get outta here! *Running*
Flam: *Following*
Applejack: And don't you ever come back here!
Braeburn: Wow. Thank you so much.
Applejack: No problem. That's what friends are for.
Applebloom: And family.
Big Macintosh: Eeyup.
Meanwhile with the Flim Flam brothers
Flim: We need to find a way to stop Applejack from preventing us from attacking Braeburn. He needs to sell us his orchard, so we can make cider again.
Flam: I think I have a plan. We'll go over there tonight, when they're all asleep and steal something very valuable.
Flim: Good idea, but what are we going to steal?
Flam: I don't know.
Dexter: *Arrives* I think I may have the answer to your problem.
Flim: Dexter, where have you been?
Dexter: Getting weapons, and ammo. Also, I robbed the bank, and got money for our train tickets.
Flam: Excellent. We have a plan. We're going to travel somewhere with something very valuable of theirs, and we'll try to lose them in a city far from here.
Dexter: What place do you have in mind?
Flam: St. Foalis.
Dexter: It's far, but worth it. I'll go get Karl, and Kyle.
That night, the Flim Flam brothers waited to sneak onto Braeburn's orchard. Everyone in the house was asleep.
Flim: You four wait here. If you hear shouting, run without me.
Dexter: We got it.
Flim: *Walks into house* *Quietly tiptoes upstairs*
Applejack: *Sleeping*
Applebloom: *Sleeping next to Applejack*
Flim: *Levitates Applebloom with magic*
Applebloom: *Slowly opening eyes*
Flim: *humming lullaby*
Applebloom: *Closes eyes*
Flim: *Carrying Applebloom*
Applebloom: *Sleeping*
Flim: *Walking downstairs*
Applejack: Applebloom! Where are you?!
Flim: *Running out house carrying Applebloom*
Dexter: Good, you got her. Let's go. *Runs*
Flim: *Runs*
The Flim Flam brothers, Dexter, Karl, and Kyle both ran to the train station. Applejack had no idea where her sister was.
The next morning, Applejack, and Big Macintosh went looking for her all over Appleloosa. When they returned to Braeburn's orchard, they had no idea where she was.
Braeburn: First, the Flim Flam brothers try to steal my orchard, then your sister goes disappearing. I think those Flim Flam brothers are behind this.
Applejack: Yeah, I think so to, but where have they gone?
Colgate: *walks up* Applejack?
Applejack: Colgate, how are you?
Colgate: Not too good. I just got off the train, and I saw your sister with the Flim Flam brothers, and a bunch of other ponies. They got on the train when I left.
Braeburn: Looks like I was right.
Applejack: We have to save my sister Braeburn. Let's go.
Applejack, and Braeburn set off to save Applebloom.
When Applejack, and Braeburn got to the station, they could see the Flim Flam brothers with Applebloom.
Applejack: Applebloom, come here now!
Applebloom: *Runs to Applejack*
Karl: Nope! *grabs Applebloom* Where do you think you're going?
Applebloom: APPLEJACK!!
Kyle: *Shoots at Applejack*
Applejack: *Hides behind cart*
Braeburn: *Shoots at Kyle*
Flim: Our train is here.
Flam: *Shoots wheel off cart*
Applejack: *Shoots Flam* APPLEBLOOM!
Applebloom: APPLEJACK! *Being pulled into train*
Dexter: Shut up *Gets Applebloom into train*
Applejack: We gotta get on that train. *Runs to station*
Braeburn: *Follows Applejack*
Engineer: *Waiting*
Conductor: All aboard.
Engineer: *Blows whistle*
Braeburn: They're taking off! *Runs faster to train*
Engineer: *Drives train*
Applejack: *Jumps on*
Braeburn: *Tries to jump on* Ah! *Grabs railing* I don't think I'll be able to climb up.
Applejack: Give me your back leg.
Braeburn: *Moves back leg to Applejack*
Applejack: *Pulls Braeburn on*
Braeburn: You saved me.
Applejack: Yep. Now, let's get in. *Walks inside train*
Braeburn: *Follows*
When they walked inside the passenger car, they saw the Flim Flam brothers, and their gang.
Applejack: Let's go in the other car behind us *Walks into other passenger car*
Braeburn: *Follows Applejack*
Applejack: *Sits down*
Braeburn: *Sits next to Applejack*
Conductor: *Walks in passenger car* Tickets.
Braeburn: *Shows money* We accidentally dropped ours while the train was moving.
Conductor: *Takes money* Anypony else don't have tickets?
Applejack, and Braeburn waited until the train got to St. Foalis. When they got there, The Flim Flam brothers, and their gang went off the train.
Applejack: Let's get going Braeburn. *Gets off train*
Braeburn: *Follows Applejack*
Dexter: Where are we taking this filly boss?
Flim: Ehem.
Dexter: Sorry. I mean bosses.
Flam: That's more like it.
Flim: We are going into the river to drown her.
Applebloom: You can't drown me!
Passengers: *Looking at Flim Flam brothers*
Flim: Keep your mouth shut.
Passenger: Hey, what's happening?
Dexter: None of your shitty business *Shoots passenger*
Passengers: *Running away*
The only ponies that didn't run away were Applejack, and Braeburn. They were quietly following the Flim Flam brothers.
Flim: Ok. We'll buy a cart over there. Me, and my brother will pull the cart to the river so we can drown Applebloom.
Flam: *Checks money* Let's try not to spend too much. We gotta save some dough for when we run low on ammunition.
Flim: Don't worry too much. *Goes to dealer* How much for the cart?
Dealer: Five bits.
Flim: *Pays dealer five bits* Alright. Everypony get in.
Karl, Kyle & Applebloom: *Get in cart*
Dexter: *Hitches Flim and Flam to cart*
Flim & Flam: *Pull cart*
Braeburn: *Sees Cart* Applejack, over there!
Applejack: They're heading towards the river.
Braeburn: AJ, I don't know about you, but I think they're going to try, and drown her.
Applejack: We can't let that happen. Come on! *Runs very fast*
Braeburn: Hey, wait for me! *Running after Applejack*
Dexter: *Sees Applejack* Sir? We've got company.
Flim: Applejack?
Dexter: Applejack.
Flam: Let's go faster then.
Flim & Flam: *Run faster*
Karl: Should we shoot them?
Flim: Yeah, get them off our tail.
Karl: *Grabs rifle*
Kyle: *Grabs shotgun*
Applejack: They have guns. *grabs revolver*
Karl: *Shoots at Braeburn*
Applejack: *Shoots wheel off cart*
Dexter: Ah! We lost a wheel!
Flim & Flam: *Losing control*
Braeburn: *Shoots off Flam's hat*
Flam: Ah!!
The cart stopped, and all six ponies run off. Well, Applebloom was being carried, and Dexter was carrying her.
The Flim Flam brothers were close to getting to the river, but Applejack, and Braeburn were close behind them.
Flim: Kyle, Karl. Deal with those two.
Karl: We're on it.
Applejack: *Hits Kyle*
Karl: Or at least, I am.
Braeburn: *Kicks Karl*
Applejack: Deal with these two. I gotta save Applebloom. *Runs off*
Braeburn: *Grabs shotgun*
Karl: Hey, that's mine.
Braeburn: Then you can have it again in hell. *Shoots Karl*
Kyle: *Pushes Braeburn on ground*
Braeburn: Ah! *Drops shotgun*
Kyle: *Going for shotgun*
Braeburn: *grabs revolver*
Kyle: *Grabs shotgun*
Braeburn: *Shoots Kyle*
Kyle: *Shoots Braeburn*
After that, Applejack was running towards closer, and closer to the Flim Flam brothers.
Flim: Drop her in the river.
Dexter: *Drops Applebloom in the river*
Applejack: *Jumps in river*
Applebloom: Applejack.
Flam: GGrrrrr. Shoot her!
Dexter: *Shoots at Applejack*
Applejack: *Carrying Applebloom towards land*
Flim: *shoots Applejack's hat*
Applejack: Ah! *gets Applebloom out of river*
Braeburn: *Arrives*
Dexter: *Knocks out Braeburn*
Applejack: Braeburn!
Flim: Stop right there. Put your hooves up.
Applejack: *raises hooves in air*
Flim: You to!
Applebloom: *Raises hooves in air*
Flim: Now. What are we going to do with you?
Flam: I know.
In a dark room in some warehouse, Flim, Flam, and Dexter were beating up Applejack, and Braeburn. Applebloom was tied to part of the wall, and couldn't do anything.
Flam: *Kicks Applejack*
Flim: *Laughing, and punching Braeburn*
Dexter: Haha!
Applejack: *Standing up*
Dexter: *Kicks Applejack*
Braeburn: Hey, you leave her alone!
Flim: *Punches Braeburn*
Braeburn: Ow *Laying on ground*
Applejack: You'll be sorry after all this!
Flim: *Punches Applejack*
Applejack: *Leaning on wall* In other words, you're in trouble.
Flim: *Pushes Applejack onto floor*
Dexter: *Knocks out Braeburn*
Flam: Ok, that's enough. Leave these three to die, and let's return to Appleloosa.
After the Flim Flam brothers left with Dexter, another pony walked in.
??: Hey. Are you alright?
Applejack: *Stands up* Who are you?
?? My name is Erica. You three should get some medical attention.
Applejack: We can't right now. I gotta go after those ponies that beat me, and my cousin up.
Erica: I think I saw them. Were they two unicorns with an orange pegasus?
Applejack: Yeah. Where'd you see them?
Erica: They just left the warehouse.
Applejack: Ok. Wake up Braeburn while I untie my sister. *Goes to Applebloom*
Erica: *Walks to Braeburn* Exuse me. Sir?
Braeburn: *Hits Erica*
Applejack: Braeburn!
Braeburn: Alright! Who are you, and what do you want?!
Applejack: Braeburn, stop! She's a friend.
Braeburn. Ooooh. Hi, I'm sorry about what happened my name is Braeburn what is your name?
Erica: My name is Erica. You talk really fast.
Braeburn: I do? Oh, yeah I do. Sometimes.
Applejack: *Unties Applebloom* Alright. We have to go now. Flim, and Flam could be anywhere by now.
Erica: Try the trainstation.
Applejack: Ok. *Runs to train station*
Braeburn & Applebloom: *Following Applejack*
Erica was right. The Flim Flam brothers were at the train station.
Flam: Ah. Success. Something that we always get.
Flim: And our train has arrived. Good.
Applejack: *Running towards station* We gotta hurry! *Runs quickly to train*
Braeburn & Applebloom: *Following*
Flim, Flam, & Dexter: *Boarding train*
Applejack: *About to get on train*
Porter: Hey! You don't have a ticket!
Applejack: So?
Porter: So you can't get on the train.
Applejack: I don't care *Gets on*
Braeburn & Applebloom: *Get on train*
Porter: *Sighs* Nopony cares about what I think is important.
Just like on the trip to St. Foalis, Applejack, and her friends got in a different car then Flim, and Flam to make sure they did not get spotted.
At Ponyville, the train stopped.
Engineer: *walks in train* Attention everypony. Our engine has broken down, and will be stuck here for nine hours. In the meantime, go explore the city.
Applejack: Well, this would be a perfect time to drop Applebloom off here.
Applebloom: I wanna go with you.
Applejack: No you don't. I can't afford to have your life at risk.
Braeburn: Where are we going to leave her? Sweet Apple Acres isn't a good option.
Applejack: Maybe. If Big Mac didn't come back from Appleloosa. We'll just have to check.
Applebloom: Why can't I stay with Granny Smith?
Applejack: She doesn't pay much attention to you. As much as I love Granny Smith, she just falls asleep a lot.
Applebloom: I can get her to wake up.
Applejack: *Sighs* Where's Rarity?
Braeburn: I thought you two hated each other.
Applejack: Nah, not anymore. We just have to get to Carousel Boutique. *Walks towards Sugarcube Corner*
Applebloom: This ain't the way to the boutique.
Applejack: I know that, I just wanna talk to Pinkie Pie first.
So the three ponies walk into Sugarcube Corner
Pinkie Pie: Guten Tag Applejack. How are you?
Applejack: Fine. I have to go to Appleloosa with Braeburn, and stop the Flim Flam brothers from trying to steal his orchard.
Pinkie Pie: Oh. So, why are you here then?
Applejack: Our train broke down, and I want Applebloom to be somewhere safe.
Pinkie Pie: Ach! Pick me! Pick me! You can trust a german, can't you?! *Squee*
Applejack: Well...
Suddenly, a loud thump was heard from upstairs
Pinkie Pie: Was zum Teufel? I gotta help Mr, and Mrs. Cake get my Oktoberfest decorations in the attic. Sorry.
Applejack: That's fine. Have you at least seen Rarity?
Pinkie Pie: Ja, but she might be busy.
Applejack: Come on Braeburn, let's take Applebloom to Rarity.
They left Sugarcube Corner, when Rarity showed up, looking worried.
Rarity: Applejack! Your barn is on fire!
Applejack: Say what?
Rarity: The Flim Flam brothers set Sweet Apple Acres on fire, and your barn is being destroyed.
Applebloom: Oh no!!
Applejack: We gotta run over there now! *Running very fast*
Braeburn, Applebloom, and Rarity: *Following Applejack*
Rarity: Ugh *Slowing down* Go without me. My mane will be ruined if I run any faster.
Applejack: *Sighs* Whatever *Continues to run*
By the time Applejack arrived at Sweet Apple Acres, everything was destroyed. Flim, and Flam weren't anywhere to be seen, but Granny Smith was there. Luckily no one was hurt.
Applejack: Well, we can't have Applebloom stay here.
Applebloom: Why would they do this?
Applejack: Well you see Applebloom, some ponies do very rude things, just because they don't like someone. They are known as assholes.
Braeburn: Hey look. Rarity ain't that far. You can get her to take care of Applebloom while you're away.
Rarity: Do what now?
Applejack: I need you to watch Applebloom. Is that alright?
Rarity: Yes. Sweetie Belle will be really happy to have Applebloom as a guest.
Applebloom: *Shouts with excitement*
Applejack, Braeburn, and Rarity: *Covering ears*
Braeburn: Hey! Everypony is getting back on the train.
Applejack: We gotta go Rarity. Thanks for everything. *Runs off*
Braeburn: *Follows*
What Applejack didn't know was that Flim, Flam, and Dexter were already on the train.
Dexter: Boss, Applejack running towards the train.
Flam: *Grabs rifle* Excellent.
Braeburn: Applejack, look out!
Flam: *Shoots rifle*
Applejack: *Dodges bullet*
Conductor: *Sees Flam* Hey! What do you think you're doing?
Flim: *Knocks out conductor*
Applejack: *Jumps onto platform*
Dexter: Shoot her!
Braeburn: *Shoots Flam's rifle*
Braeburn's bullet went right into Flam's barrel in his rifle, but no one noticed.
Flam: *Pulls trigger, but his rifle explodes* Ah! *Falls on floor*
Applejack, and Braeburn: *Sneak on train*
Flam: Did they get on?
Flim: I don't know.
Flam: Well, check the entire train, and let me know if they're on or not.
Flim: Ok. *Walks away with Dexter*
Flim, and Dexter searched every single seat in all the passenger cars. They didn't see Applejack, or Braeburn.
Flim: *Looks at door to caboose* They can't be in there. No passengers are allowed in there. *Walks away*
Dexter: Are you sure? The conducter is dead. They could get on there if they wanted.
Flim: Well, they're not on there, alright? Let's go.
Dexter: *Follows Flim*
But inside the caboose.
Applejack: *Looks out window* Ok, all clear. *Walks into passenger car*
Braeburn: *Follows* Now what?
Applejack: Now, we wait until our arrival at Appleloosa.
The train arrives at Appleloosa, and the Flim Flam brothers get out.
Applejack: *Watching* Ok, let's go. *Exits train*
Braeburn: *Follows*
Flim: *walks into saloon*
Flam: *Walks into saloon*
Dexter: *Walks into saloon*
Applejack: What do you suppose they're up to?
Braeburn: I ain't sure. We better get back to my orchard.
So they did, but inside the saloon.
Dexter: *grabs paper, and pen* Alright. What am I writing?
Flim: A letter! We've gone over this 5 times already in the train.
Flam: Here is what we want you to write. You ready?
Dexter: Ready.
Flam: Dear Applejack. You have made us cross for the last time. We want to have a duel against you, tomorrow at high noon. Signed, Flim, and Flam.
Dexter: *Writing letter* You guys aren't even signing this.
Flim: So? It doesn't matter, as long as you're writing it down for us.
Dexter: Whatever. *takes letter* I'm gonna give it to them now.
Flam: Please, by all means. Go give them that letter.
Dexter: *Walks out of saloon*
Meanwhile at Braeburn's orchard
Applejack: *Bucks trees causing apples to fall* Well, I told you I'd get all of them.
Braeburn: Um, Applejack? That's the only tree in this orchard.
Applejack: *Looks around orchard* Why do you have only one tree?
Braeburn: It gives me a lot of apples, you know.
Applejack: *Checks bucket* You're right.
Dexter: *Arrives with letter*
Applejack: *Sees Dexter* What do you want now?!
Dexter: Nothing, I just came to give you this letter *Drops letter, and runs away*
Applejack: *Takes letter*
Braeburn: You're not going to shoot him?
Applejack: Not now. *Opens letter* I just wanna see this letter he gave us. *reading letter*
Dear Applejack.
You have made us cross for the last time. We want to have a duel against you, tomorrow at high noon.
Signed, Flim, and Flam.
Back at the saloon
Dexter: *Returns*
Flim: Did you give them that letter?
Dexter: Yeah.
Flam: Now what?
Flim: Now, we wait until tomorrow. That is when we kill Applejack.
Later that evening
Applejack: *Shooting tree*
Braeburn: Stop shooting my tree!
Applejack: I'm practicing so I can defeat the Flim Flam brothers.
Braeburn: Practice on my shed, not the tree.
Applejack: *Sighs* *Shoots window*
Braeburn: *Sees damage* Ok, maybe that's enough practicing.
Applejack: Whatever, I'm going to practice somewhere else. *Leaves*
Braeburn: *Walks back into home*
Applejack wanted to practice at a cemetary, but when she got there, Flim, and Flam were practicing.
Flim: *Shoots tombstone*
Flam: *Shoots tree*
Dexter: You're both shooting at the same time. It'll be difficult to choose which one gets to duel Applejack.
Flam: What if we both went against her at the same time?
Dexter: Are we allowed to do that?
Flim: Sure. She'll never be able to beat us.
Dexter: She could be quick you know. If she's a fast runner, she's bound to be quick on the trigger. Everypony in Appleloosa will see how she killed two ponies during a duel, and they'll call it a double life.
Flim: Hmmm, not happening.
Flam: Dexter, I promise you that when the both of us duel Applejack at the same time, she will not win.
Dexter: *Sighs* Whatever.
After hearing all that, Applejack decided it was time to head back to Braeburn's orchard.
Next day, at 11:50 Applejack was heading to town hall. Braeburn was with her.
Dexter: Sir, they're here.
Flim: Then let's get ready.
Flam: Kill Braeburn, but not Applejack. After you kill her cousin, just shoot her in the hoof so that she can't catch you.
Dexter: I'm on it *grabs shotgun*
Applejack: *Walking next to Braeburn*
Dexter: *Walks out of building*
Braeburn: Dexter!
Dexter: Braeburn! *Shoots Braeburn*
Braeburn: Ah! *Falls on ground*
Applejack: Braeburn!
Dexter: *Runs back into building*
Applejack: *Looks at Braeburn* Braeburn, this is my fault.
Braeburn: No it isn't *Coughs* Thank you for everything. *Dies*
Applejack: *Goes towards building* Dexter! Get out here!!
Flim: Ok, maybe you should kill her.
Dexter: *Runs out of building*
Applejack: *Shoots Dexter's brains out*
Flam: Oh no.
Flim: Well, here we go. It's now or never.
Song? link
Flim & Flam: *Walk out of building*
Applejack: *Walks up to Flim Flam brothers* You ready, or what?
Flim: You better not get too cocky behind that trigger. *grabs gun*
Flam: *Grabs gun*
Applejack: *grabs gun*
Flim & Flam: *Turn around*
Applejack: *Turns around* 20 paces.
Flim & Flam: *walking 20 paces*
Applejack: *Walking 20 paces*
Flim: Let's just turn around, and shoot her.
Flam: No! We can do this. Everypony is probably watching this.
Applejack: *Smiles*
Flim & Flam: *Nervously getting toward 20 paces*
Applejack: *Reaches 20 paces*
Just as soon as Flim, and Flam got to 20 paces, Applejack turned around to fire her gun. Flim, and Flam turned around quicker then her, and then gunshots were heard.
Applejack: *Drops gun*
Flim & Flam: *Fall on ground*
Applejack: I did it. I killed them both.
Ponies: *Walk out of buildings* Well done Applejack! You saved the town.
Applejack: *Smiles* From this moment on, everypony shall know about my Double Life.
Ponies: *Cheering*
And thus, everypony has heard about Applejack's Double Life, and looked up to her as a hero.
