Yes you can. however there are still things to take into account. One: its very messy, so i recommend in a shower or something. two: it can be hard to 'get wet' and the blood while working as a lubricant doesnt very well, especially on a light flow (which is much less messy), so it is a little harder to take anything in. and Three you can still get pregnant during your period, so still use contraception, although some may not work (male condoms and the pill will still work)...hope that helped

is it really, why is that? i suppose if the guys penis has a cut on it otherwsie the blood would mater anyway

No, really....sex during your period is not problematic.
I experience the same amount of joy as always.
You could of course put a towel on the bed to prevent the bedcloth from getting dirty.

And what has been said about pregnacy and diseases during your period....just use a condom(as always)!
