Fallax swallowed and climbed out the window. He ran past James and up to Elizabeth. "Hey!" he called over to her.

"Oh shut up." Bennitt ruffled her hair.

James rolled his eyes and went back inside.

"Fuck off, Fallax."

ELain grinned and grabbed his hand, kissing his knuckles.

He held back a growl. "I...just came to apologize," he explained.

"Yeah? Apology accepted. Now leave me alone." She kicked into a run towards the city.

Bennitt grinned and sucked on her neck.

Fallax reached out for her as she ran off. "I..."

Elain shook her head and looked around. "What time is it?"

Elizabeth slowed, rounded a corner and disappeared from sight.

"E-Elizabeth..." he said lowly as she disappeared. "I...I'm sorry..."

Elizabeth slumped down against the wall, leaning her head back and closing her eyes.

Fallax turned back and saw James. "I...I didn't mean to piss her off..."

"Don't blame yourself. She's had a bad temper since she came here. She's like Elain. Or was. Suprisingly Bennitt seemed to bring her around. Maybe you can do the same for Elizabeth."

"I don't know." Bennitt kissed around her neck.

Fallax sighed. "Probably. I doubt it though."

"Just try." James was silent for a while. "You know, for a demon, you aren't that bad."

Fallax looked off and growled. "Shut up. It doesn't matter how much better we may seem to get, we're forever condemned by your God..."

Elain sighed.

Bennitt looked up at her.

James glared at him. "Fuck you."

"Why? Because I stated something that you've overlooked and don't want to accept? I've seen the Garden of Eden. I did NOTHING to deserve being like I am other than being born like this!! I'd rather be back at that Garden than here wandering around, killing people and stealing their souls just to survive!!"

Fallax huffed and walked towards where Elizabeth had gone. "Elizabeth?" he called again for her.

Elizabeth looked up. "What?"

He sighed. "Good...you're still here."

"What's the matter?" Bennitt stroked her hair.

"Nothing, nothing."

Elizabeth huffed and looked across the street

"Look...I didn't mean to piss you off. But, considering where we're at and what you and me are, you can't blame me for being a little on edge about everything, right?" Fallax crouched down beside her. "I'm...sorry..."

"It's cool, I guess. I'm sorry for blowing up like that."

Fallax smiled. "It's fine. Don't worry about it."

Bennitt pulled her close. "There's something on your mind."

Elain smiled. "It's nothing, really."

Elizabeth stood up, brushing her handsoff on her jeans./

"Can we go back now? I mean, we're kind of out in the open here."

Bennitt kissed her softly.

Elain kissed him back.

Elizabeth nodded.

Bennitt hugged her.

Fallax smiled. "Good." He began to walk back to the building.

Elain smiled and hugged him back.

Bennitt kissed her temple.

He climbed back up to her window and laid on her bed as he waited.

Elain sighed and rested her head on his shoulder.

Elizabeth climbed up after him and perched herself on one of the bed posts.

Fallax gave her a smile. He covered his face with his arms and let out a sigh.

"Okay, what's the matter? I won't take nothing for an answer."

"Nothing is wrong. I'm just... kind of tired."

Elizabeth's returning smile was barely there, and she rubbed her eyes with the meaty parts of her palms.

"Ya know, I'm glad I met you. Not many people would be willing to put up with a demon in their home, not to mention their body."

She chuckled. "I'm glad I met you too. Not many people would put up with my temper."

"Pfft! What temper?" he said, giving her a small laugh.

Elizabeth grined.

"Then you should lay down."

Elain nodded and hugged him, kissing him lightly on the lips. "I'll see you later."

"Alright." Bennitt kissed her quickly.
