Joan and Sherlock :)

Set a couple of years after Mycroft's funeral.
Sherlock and Joan have been married for almost two years and Joesph has just turned two.

Joan woke from her sleep upon hearing the noise downstairs, she got out of the bed and went down the stairs to living room only to see that Sherlock and Joesph had been playing one of their many games and have knocked over almost everything in the living room.

'Sherlock!'
He looked at Joan and grabbed Joesph to stop him running around,
'What is going on? I thought you said you'd be at the station this morning?'

Sherlock woke early and just stared at his brother. They were going home today and he couldn't be happier. He would see his son soon but most importantly he would see Joan. He missed her so much. Mycroft rolled over and opened his eyes.
'Morning.'
'Morning.' Mycroft sat up. 'What time is it?'
'Eight o'clock. You can go back...'
'No i'm fine. What time's our flight?'
'About two o'clock. We have a few hours left.'
'Well..Better start packing.' Mycroft got out the bed and picked up his bag. 'Are you sure you want me to stay with you?'
'I'm sure.' They smiled at each other. Sherlock followed his brother...

Sherlock took James back to Mycroft's flat to shower and change. Once he was in the kitchen, Sherlock pulled Mycroft aside.
'Moriarty is in London.'
'How do you know?'
'James stole two grand from him. That's why you haven't heard from him, he's been in hiding.'
'Have you called Scotland yard?'
'Not yet, If Moriarty knows we're on to him..He'll vanish. We'll have to bide our time with this one.'
'Alright, James can stay in the other guest room for now. You should probably call Joan.'
'No.'
'No? She has a right to know brother.'
'She doesn't need any more stress, it's not good for her or the baby.'
'But...

'What?'
'The only way you can save Sherlock is to give up your baby.'
'That's..That's sick.'
'You said you would do anything to save him. His life is in your hands.' She hanged up the phone. Joan couldn't believe what she heard, Give up her baby? Irene knew that was the one thing she could never do. She thought about Sherlock lying there, waiting for her to save him. She dialed Gregson's number.
'Miss Watson. How's Sherlock doing?'
'I don't know, Irene's with him.'
'What's she doing there? Where are you?'
'I'm at home, Sherlock wanted me to check out a theory. He thought Irene tried to kill him. He...

The day of the trial arrived. Sherlock finished dressing and went downstairs. He was nervous, mainly for Joan. He found her in the living room with Joseph.
'Hey.'
'Hey, you ok?'
'A little nervous.' He sat down next to her. 'You?'
'Not too bad, just don't want to face her attorney.'
'I know, but we've done nothing wrong. We have nothing to fear.' He took Joseph's hand. 'Uncle Mycroft's looking after you today, go easy on him.'
Joan giggled as Mycroft came out from the kitchen.
'I'm sure uncle Mycroft can look after him for one afternoon.' Joan handed Joseph to him. 'We'll be just fine, won't we?' Joan...
