Sherlock Question

If John were to commit suicide (And I'm not saying he will, I'm just saying 'if'.)...

This might sound like a weird question, but since Sherlock committed suicide by falling off of St. Barts things have not been the same for poor John. And maybe he's reaching the point where he can't cope with it anymore. So if John were to commit suicide; of all the places shown in the Sherlock miniseries; where would he do it, why there, and how would he do it? Would he follow in the footsteps of his only best friend because that's how much he meant? Or would the man who loves danger and adventure do something different?

I hope John doesn't but he might as he is absolutely devastated and he can't bear the silence any longer.he desperately misses Sherlock being around and he tegrets things he didn't say and things he didn't do, things left unfinished. John considers following Sherlock. He would follow his footsteps and throw himself off St Barts roof as that's the last place he SAW Sherlock and feels closer to him there and wants to feel how Sherlock felt and follow him to the next life, to eternity

That's absolutely beautiful. ); Thank you. I won't even note your one small spelling error because what you say is the truth and I am crying. Well, as I am now cold, they are frozen tears.

I think if John were to end his life, because of losing Sherlock, he would go to Sherlock's grave, have a long talk to him. Tell him everything he always wanted to tell him and just couldn't because he believed Sherlock just wouldn't want to hear it or he was just too scare of what might happen next once he did tell him everything he felt for him. Once all of it was said he would take out his service pistol and eat a bullet...But wait, just a split second before he pulls the trigger, someone grabs the gun and throws it across the graveyard. John looks up into Sherlock's face, and dies from a massive heartache.

Thank you. That's an excellent one as well. Now I'm going to go off and cry my frozen tears. Again. Oh, and don't you mean he'd die from a heart attack? A heart ache is what would cause the suicide, not the death in your case.

If John were to commit suicide, the entire fandom would murder Moffat with their bare hands.

I think, after his "death" Sherlock would enlish Mycroft to keep surveillance on John. Mycroft would alert Sherlock that we saw John exiting a cab outside St Barts and was worried.
John would stand on the edge of the roof, crying. He would whisper one last goodbye, before leaning foward.
To his surprise, a pair of strong arms would grab him around the waist. He would turn around and Sherlock would be standing there, crying.
That seems like a Moffat-y thing to do. Give us all imense depression along with John only for him to be saved at the last minute. Well, that's how it should be done anyway.
