In the April issue of GQ, the always candid Shia LaBeouf lets it be known that he's still bitter about the way the media handled his widely-publicized car crash in 2008. Although he was initially arrested in Los Angeles on a misdemeanor drunk driving charge, a couple of days later it was announced that Shia was not at fault in the accident, which left him with a severely injured left hand.

"I'd be watching the news, and they'd play my car crash, and every once in a while Kim Kardashian's sister [Khloe] would jump on TV and preach to me from the red carpet about how to live my [expletive] life," he shares. The reality star, who served 173 minutes in jail for a 2007 DUI charge, had these words of wisdom for Shia: "Just be smarter," she told Us Weekly at a red carpet event. "Think about your actions and get a driver. It's so much cheaper in the long run!"

Not surprisingly, LaBeouf didn't exactly appreciate Khloe's unsolicited advice.

"And I'm so upset, man. I'm so angry," he tells GQ. "Because this accident was not caused by me. I got hit. I had a green. This [expletive] ran a red light. And he flipped my truck, and he shoveled it on my hand....

Anywho, Access Hollywood has been stalking anyone who was even remotely involved in Sunday’s DU-Shi incident, and they found some eyewitness who said the driver of the other vehicle actually told Shia to take off. Shia, however, decided to stay.

“Shia was tending to the other people in the car, signing over information, like insurance and stuff and basically, I overheard the guy tell him, ‘You should just get out of here and go,’ and Shia said, ‘Nah man. I gotta deal with this. My license plate, it’s my car. I don’t wanna go, I gotta deal with this.’”

“The guy Shia hit told him, ‘You should get outta here,’ and ‘I never saw you.’ He said, ‘I never saw you,’ and Shia said, ‘No, man, I gotta stay here and deal with this. It’s my problem.”

In 2004, Shia contributed this short essay to the book, I Am Jewish. It is a collection of statements by well-known Jews inspired by the last words of journalist Daniel Pearl. Pearl was murdered by Islamic terrorists because he was a Jew. The book was edited by Judea Pearl, Daniel's father.

Shia writes:

First off, let me make clear that I am in no way a Jew who attends Shabbat every Friday or puts t'fillin on before I go to sleep.
I am what you would call a claimer Jew. See, I claim to be Jewish because it is beneficial to be Jewish. I benefit from saying I am Jewish. How?
I have a personal relationship with God that happens to work within the confines of Judaism.
Judaism to me is the name of the telephone in my heart that allows me to speak to God.
Really, I feel cocky when I say I am Jewish, not bad cocky, but good cocky. Because what I am really saying is that I am one of the few chosen ones out there. I made it; God chose me and I take pride in that

Shia: [Why he became an actor] Greed. I was poor and it was a way to get out of the hood.

Shia: [when asked about what it's like to be a celebrity] I'll tell you when I become one.

Shia: To be an actor, a true actor, you have to be brokenhearted.

Shia: Talent is funny, I've always looked at talent like what the hell does talent really mean? Talent is to actors what luck is to card players. It's not really anything, it's just a fictitious word that people have created and labeled things. Talent is like you know I never really believed in talent, I believed in drive and determination and preparation but talent is sort of like luck. I wouldn't want to think of myself as talented it doesn't seem like there's any validity in that. I like to think of myself as an ordinary man with extra ordinary determination. That's it.

Shia: Acting is more of an art form than an occupation.

Shia: Would I want to win an Oscar before I'm 40? Maybe. Would I want to win one before I'm 25? No.

The cast and the crew of Transformers 2 seem to be constantly facing problems on and off the sets of the film.

First, lead actor Shia LaBeouf met with an accident and injured his hand. Then director Michael Bay's house was burgled. Now, a member of the crew has been injured while canning a stunt scene, reports tmz.com.

A special effects technician received treatment for third degree burns on his right hand and upper right thigh. The mishap took place when he was trying to add fuel to a special effects fire.

The man apparently grabbed the wrong container. He had to be taken to the hospital.

All the stars of the movie were on the set at the time of the accident.

Sorry, if this has already been posted (:

The ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ star grew up in a part of Los Angeles which was rife with gang crime, and witnessed violence first-hand during the race riots in 1992.

He said: “I saw people get stabbed across the street in the park on a daily basis.”

The 21-year-old actor also revealed his home life was also fraught because his father was a drug dealer and addict.

LaBeouf said: “I didn’t get a lot of time with my father. I didn’t really know him until I started working on my Disney show ‘Even Stevens’, and that was because I was paying him to be my parent on set.”

The pair have never had an intimate or close relationship, leaving LaBeouf wondering how much his father cared about him.

He added: “There’s a scene in a film I did where my character says, ‘Did you ever love me?’ These were questions I’d asked my father many times.”
