"Ma! I'm leaving!" i say as I dash out the door. My name is Shima Hiyazaki, a seventh grader. My friend since childhood, Aki, was waiting outside. "Wow Shima, your finally on time." She says, yawning and clawing her fingers into her thick baby blue mo-styled hairdo. I blush, embarrassed. "Sh.. Shush it!"
Usually I'm the quiet cool type. Especially in school. But theres something missing. Should I.. Change? No, its too hard to change into someone that isn't truly you.. Is it? Well, these thoughts always rush through my head like the blood in my veins. "...Shima? Shiiiimaa! Shima-chan!" I snap into reality. I turn, seeing Aki cross her arms at me. "Were ya daydreamin' again? What do you always think of anyway?" She asked, demanding an answer. "Uhh.. Well, y'see.." I stall, hoping the bell would ring any second. Ring!!! There we go. As Aki started to her desk, she gave me a tell-me-after-class face. I shrugged and began blushing. It would be much to embarrassing to tell anyone.
"Now, can anyone tell me the reason Pluto is no more an official planet?" The boring teacher asked, looking around, his glasses sliding down to the tip of his nose. Bore. I've known this since Second grade! Sheesh. "Oohh ohh! Uhh, cuz its'a dwarf planet?" Akemi, my mortal enemy said. Acting like her prissy mary-sue persona again... "Uh yes that is correct, Miss Tanabuza. You may sit down." Akemi then looked right over to me and smirked. "Mmhmm, not even baka Shima could get it!" I sunk down in my seat. Everyone was staring and laughing at me. I remained Speechless.
After class Aki went over to see me, who was beaming red. "Poor Shima-chan..." She started. "I don't need any pity! And don't end my name with '-chan'! And lastly, I need to take down Akemi!!" I bursted. Aki tsked at me and shook her head. Her scarlet eyes shined at me saying 'You are somethin'.' "Okay, well I have a way.."
That night I fluffed my pillow and lay down. *Sigh* Sighing isn't gonna help any of my problems, now is it? I asked to myself. Aki was totally wrong too. I couldn't just change into a pretty lover girl. Or a wild rock punk.. Or even a tempered hottie... And a shy, sweetie whose always innocent. Man, there were a bunch'a ways I could act.. But, how could I make that happen?
