im auditioning for a singing competiton but i dont know what song to choose. so does anyone kno a great song for a teenage girl to sing? i love almost all genres of music but i want something with meaning but also fun to sing too. any ideas?

Most Adele songs are good audition songs. They have meaning & range, and slower songs are generally harder to sing, so that makes it more impressive. So... if you don't like Adele, I'd say Google songs that have those attributes.

what you wanna do is pick a song that no one else is going to sing. don't pick a song that is too mainstream or well known, because judges look for someone unique and different. if your voice is anything like mine, you're going to want to pick a song with a high range, but not too high. do something Etta James, MAYBE even Aretha Franklin, if you think you can pull it off. I would also suggest not doing an artist that is INSANELY talented, because you don't want anyone to be disappointed if you aren;t as good as the artist. Good luck and have fun!! :)
