Falling Leaves

Through the auburn trees,
A wind rustles, just a breeze,
And the golden orange leaves fall,
Hitting the ground softly, that's all.

Falling leaves,
It's autumn now,
Roll up your sleeves,
It's autumn now.

The parks glitter and glint,
But appear more beautiful than lint,
Red, orange, brown and gold,
I'm a fan, I'm sold.

In The Forest

In the forest tonight,
Watching the stars so bright,
Illuminating the trees tonight,
Causing some unknown creature fright.

In the forest tonight,
Seeing the moon so light,
Shining in unison with the howling wolves tonight,
Even on the darkest night.

Of course I am partial to this one. I grew up escaping to the forest when young and even sneaking out alone at night and going walking into the dark woods all alone (not very smart)... but I felt called. 10 days ago
