I Just Might Be Next Chapter Seventy Seven
In just a couple of days I will be getting married! I could not believe in just a matter of hours that I would be Mrs. Seth Clearwater. It seemed as if it would never come and now it is here.
"Mattie, I cannot believe you are getting married tomorrow afternoon," Sam exclaimed, "my little girl is growing up!"
Sam seemed to be somewhat upset.
"Awe Sam, I have been grown up," I joked.
"It is just, you are getting married," he said stunned.
"Before you," I stated.
"Oh, ouch," he laughed, "hey now, I am being nice. Besides, you should be nice to me; I am walking you down the aisle."
"Right, sorry," I said. "you know I was just someone, right?"
"I am just messing with you," Sam smiled.
"Seth and I are going to go look at houses, would you come out and help us," I asked hopeful.
"Um, I do not know. I am sort of busy today," he stated.
"Oh, okay," I said disappointed.
"I am kidding of course I will come. This is La Push, there is not much to do," he exclaimed.
"Sam," I yelled, "seriously, do not scare me like this!"
"I am going to miss you when you move out," he said, "it is going to be weird living here all alone."
"I know. I am going to miss you too," I said as I hugged him, "but we will come and visit!"
"You better," Sam laughed.
"Hey Sam," Seth said as he came through the door, "hey my all most wife-to-be!"
"Hey Seth," I squealed and planted a kiss on his cheek, "my husband-to-be!"
"Are you ready to go house hunting," Seth asked.
"I sure am but," I started.
"But what," Seth asked worried.
"I really would like Sam's opinion on the house," I said, "and I was thinking he could come along and help us out. If you do not mind!"
"Yeah, that sounds fine," Seth smiled. "dad is a actually waiting in the car."
"Oh that is good," I said excited, "now we have three smart people to help us by a home!"
"Three," Sam asked confused.
"Seth, he is the third person," I exclaimed, "duh!"
"Oh right, my bad," Sam joked.
"You better be joking," Seth said really serious.
"Hey; nothing is better than having my three best guys going house hunting," I said, "this is going to he so much!"
"Okay, let's go," Seth said.
"Oh cheer up, baby," I said as I hugged him.
"That is a little but better," He said. "Okay, I am now cheerful!" Seth said as I had kissed him.
"Thought that would work," I smiled brightly.
"You thought right," he smiled as he opened the car door for me.
"Hey Sam, you coming with us," Harry asked, "It is nice to see you again, Mattie!"
"Hi Harry," I said, "How are you?"
"Yes I am; Mattie wanted me to come and help out," Sam stated.
"Oh that is good, could all ways use another opinion," Harry laughed a little bit, "I am good; thank you for asking, Mattie."
"You are welcome," I smiled, "where are we going first?"
"We are going down close to beach," Harry stated, "about five miles from Billy, give or take."
"Cool, possibly a beach from view," Seth asked wide eyed, "is that the house that is sort of close to our cousins house?"
"Yes and yes," Harry stated, "Claire is her name; she is really nice and she said she would help out on decorating the house for a wedding gift."
"No way," I said in disbelief, "that would be so cool!"
"That was nice; I bet the house would turn out nicely too," Seth added enthusiastically.
Today was going to be a good day if Seth and I found the house of dreams. The house with the beach front views all ready sounded like a winner to me, but we would have to see...
