Sophie woke up with a jump, and bolted her eyes across the room. She got up, stretching, and looked outside the saferoom door. They're distand zombies walking around, moaning, and she also saw one throwing up. She wrinkled her nose at the sight, and looked behind her, at the other survivors. They were sleeping; Mina was sandwiched in the middle between Shadow and Nick, and Ellis was on the other side of the room, where him and Sophie slept. Sophie looked outside again, longing to explore this new world... hell, maybe. She wanted to get better at killing the zombies-- hey, practice makes perfect, right? But, she just wanted to go a small distance-- to the next saferoom, so everyone knows the way. But, she coulsn't go off by herself. If there are more hooded creatcheres, or some with the long tounges, she'd be dead. So, why not bring a friend. Well, she hoped he could be more then a friend. She wanted him, and bad. Tip toeing towards Ellis, she poked him. "Ellis," she whispered. "Wake up." Ellis had been snoreing softly; Sophie thought that it sounded cute. But once Ellis woke up... let's not talk about it. "WHAT?!" Ellis yelped, jumping up. "WHAT IS I--" Sophie covered his mouth with her hand. "Shut up! You'll wake the others," she growled. Ellis grabbed her hand, and softly pushed it off of his mouth. "Shhhhh," Sophie said, her eyes softining as she looked in Ellis' eyes. She could have sworn she saw him blush, ever so slightly, but she didn't want to wait in the saferoom and figure it out. "Come on," Sophie said, smirking with mischeif. "I want to explore. I'm curious." Ellis looked at her as if she was crazy. "What do you mean?!" He whispered/yelled. "We could get killed." Sophie smiled, "Well, if you protect me, I'll protect you. And, I'd like to tell you something, but not here," she said, looking nervously at Shadow, Mina and Nick. Ellis sighed. "Fine," he said, slightly smiling. "I wanted to explore, too... but if we get killed, it's your fault." Sophie held in a giggle, and they walked out of the saferoom. They walked a bit away from the saferoom, and shot zombies sometimes. They finally found a spot to sit at; they didn't see that many zombies around; nor did they hear any upcoming zombies. Sophie sat down, and Ellis sat next to her. Sophie looked in Ellis' eyes. "Is this where you wanted to tell me something?" he asked, smiling. Sophie looked down in embarressment. "Well... yeah." Ellis smiled. "Go ahead, then." Sophie looked in Ellis' eyes again. "I... I kinda... well... I-I..." She stopped. "What is it? You what?" he asked. "I really... LIKE you.... A lot." Ellis' eyes widened, and Sophie looked down, blushing redder than Shadow's crimson eyes. "Like... LIKE like?" Ellis asked, and when she nodded, his jaw dropped. "What I'm trying to say is... I love you, Ellis...," she said, and bit her lip. Ellis stared at her, and Sophie shook, worried.

I... I'm sorry," Ellis said. Sophie looked up. "What?" Ellis replied, "I don't know what got in to me," he muttered, backing away. Sophie touched her lips; she couldn't believe it, HE kissed her first! "I... don't mind," she said, smirking, "I acually... liked it." Ellis looked up. "You did?" he asked, moving closer to her. "Well... yeah," she said, blushing. "You know what? I liked it, too," Ellis whispered, his lips only inches away from hers. Sophie blushed crazily as his lips touched hers, and Ellis blushed, too. Ellis was is perfect bliss; Sophie's tounge fought his, and they moved closer. Sophie gasped for breath, and Ellis pulled away, frightened by her sudden outburst. They were both blushing as crazy as ever, and Sophie spoke first. "We should... get back," she said. "They could be waking up any second." Ellis nodded, and smiled. He grabbed her hand and walked back to the saferoom, both of them still blushing from the kiss.
