Spencer and Toby Question

I really love spencer and toby together. They are one of my favorite pretty little liars couples, but....

Doesn't anyone know what happend to Alex? I mean spencer was dating him and I don't recall them breaking up or anything. All of a sudden he dissappears from the show and spencer and toby become a couple. Don't get me wrong, I love spencer and toby, but everyone forgot about alex. I used to like spencer and alex, but now I love spencer and toby lol:)

They did this even with Maya and Wren. With Lucas too, but he came back at the finale.
I used to love Alex and Spencer, really, but after A made a mess with them and they fighted, he just disappeared..without an explication or a really break-up..and that's bad, because if you start to care about a couple, one of the two disappear and here we come with another love interest. This sucks. The only couple that always remained the same is Aria and Ezra, that btw I don't even like..hope they're not going to do that with Caleb and Hanna or I will be sooo pissed off!

I think that Spencer is the target for A with her relationships, I mean he did expose her and Wren, and messed with her and Alex, but worst of all, she made Spencer and Toby break up :(

Yeah, but if you remember Alex was accepted to a tennis camp in Sweden thanks to A's interference. Although Alex thought it was Spencer's doing. At the time I was upset because I loved Alex and Spencer together but now I LOVE Spencer and Toby! :D
