Anakin was angry. He was in talks of getting a new Padawan. The truth is, he didn't WANT a new Padawan. He never gave up on his old one-Ahsoka Tano. He was confident she'd return to the Jedi order some day. But it was most likely that she wouldn't. "You cannot work alone." Jedi Master Mace Windu said. "I don't WANT a new Padawan!" Anakin snarled. "We're doing this to help you gain senses for responsibility." Mace argued. Anakin struggled to say something. "Why can't you tell the council I'm not ready?" he asked in frustration. Mace looked at him. "Ready or not, the council has already decided." he answered in a sorry tone. Anakin stormed away from Mace and back to his quarters.
Mace hurried up to him. He then placed a hand on Anakin's shoulder. "I know you're still upset about Ahsoka leaving the order, but the council is doing this to help you." he said in Anakin's ear. Anakin looked up at the Jedi Master. The two parted ways after some time and went back to their quarters.
Anakin walked in the room quietly, trying not to disturb a sleeping Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan had been recovering from a nasty virus he caught afew days before. Anakin layed down on his bed and thought about the whole Padawan thing. The possible new Padawan's name was Nakoma Incognito. Anakin kept thinking how he was reluctant to get a new Padawan, but he was grateful for the council's help.
About a couple hours later, Anakin had made up his mind after a long time of thinking. "I'm sorry Ahsoka." he said to himself. He decided to get a new Padawan. He knew he'd regret giving up on his old one later on, but deep down, he knew it was for the best. The Jedi had tears in his eyes because he gave up on Ahsoka. But you have to remember-he was FORCED to. And it was also likely she wouldn't be returning to the order.

He then took a minute to regain himself before telling Mace about his decision. Mace wanted Anakin to have a new Padawan too, but also had mixed feelings about it. Anakin walked out of his room to tell the Jedi Master about his decision.

Lord Sideous image squawked "Have you found the rest of that splinter group?"
"No my lord there has been no trace since their disapearance. Perhaps Master Yoda could be of some assistance in this matter." Count Dooku suggested. "Yes, I will offer to bring the lost sheep back into the fold." Sideous smiled. "The mercenary scum have arrived at your request." Coughed an irritated General Grievous.Sideous' smile broadened greatly,"Oh, yes. Please have them dropped off near Mayor Remis' home,they have a small problem to take care of for me."
"As you wish, my lord." Grievous bowed to the image.Clicking off, the Chancellor leaned back into his chair. One problem taken care of. Couldn't have men such as the mayor Remis causing upheavel about the new laws."Ah, Anakin come to give me the latest reports."
