Episode I : The Phantom Menace
Episode II : Attack of the Clones
Episode III : Revenge of the Sith
Episode IV : A New Hope
Episode V : The Empire Strikes Back
Episode VI : Return of the Jedi
Episode VII : The Force Awakens
and now there are 2 other Star Wars movies coming out...
Rogue One in December 2016 and Star Wars Episode VIII (which is untitled at the moment)
There are 6 episodes thus far, with Episodes 7-9 in the works
Episode I: The Phantom Menace-1999
Episode II: Attack of the Clones-2002
Episode III: Revenge of the Sith-2005
Episode IV: A New Hope-1977
Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back-1980
Episode VI: Return of the Jedi-1983
And may I add I LOVE all of them, and the bashing of the prequels has no point anymore-its merely a stupid fad that gotten way out of control. The prequels are good movies, not as great as the originals, but they are still good movies and dont deserve the hate. Its just stupid every-time someone puts them down.
There is 1 The Phantom Menace,2 Attack Of The Clones ,3 Revenge of the Sith 4A New Hope ,5 Empire Strikes Back ,6 Return of the Jedi. The two episodes with the ewoks Caravan of courage, and The Battle for Endor. Also the Christmas episode, that totals 9. Animation does not compute. Did not count #7, it is not out yet!
My answer will be a little different compared to everyone elses. Instead of naming them from 1-7, I will name them in chronological order.
IV: A New Hope (1977)
V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
VI: Return Of The Jedi (1983)
I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
II: Attack Of The Clones (2002)
III: Revenge Of The Sith (2005)
VII: The Force Awakens (2015)
