My heart stops and my vision becomes blurry as I look around for Sweetie Belle.

Fleur de Lis had just called her name for the Reaping. She motions the royal guard to find her and when they do, Sweetie does as she's ordered. And that is to go up to the stage.

I quickly trot to catch up to her and the guards, the ponies of my district, Alicorn, move out of the way as if I told them to so I can get to my sister.

"Sweetie? Sweetie!" I shout at the top of my lungs. A bead of sweat forms at my purple forehead.

Harmonia, a cherry red coated unicorn mare who has a pristine snow white mane that is curled to its tips, shrugs and keeps walking beside Lyra and her best mare friend, Bon Bon. Bon Bon and Lyra are really close and they always have been...

Rex is on his way to see his love, Ahsoka.

Rex: Ahsoka!

Ahsoka: Oh. Hey!

Rex and Ahsoka hug.

Ahsoka: Well, I'm gonna be on my way to Saleucami and you are too.

Rex: I'll miss you ever second you're gone.

Ahsoka: Don't worry. We can contact each other with our holo projectors and comlinks.
