I know this is super late, but I just had to say what an amazing episode 4x07 was.
DEx wasn't the best thing I know... But Stelena is looking more and more like endgame to me after each episode. We learned that Elena is sired so none of her actions were really "Elena's". I strongly believe that when they break the sire bond (which I'm sure they will) that Elena will return to Stefan.

Why Elena keeps lying to Stefan? I think he actually may understand everything she's going through and that she doesn't have to pretend to be someone she's not in front of him. This episode just cemented the idea that Stefan and Elena are endgame. Soulmates. Meant to be. Forever.

They ARE the show. And they proved that on tonight's episode.

Elena finally came to her senses and confessed that she doesn't want to be like Damon and that who she really needs is Stefan. And that was beautiful.

I was so proud of Stefan for standing up for himself and telling Elena that he was upset.

I think we are used to seeing Stefan holding in his feelings and keeping things to himself because he doesn't want to upset other people. (And I love that sensitive Stefan)

But it was amazing seeing Stefan get mad and tell Elena that he was not okay with what happened between her and Damon.

They are so underrated to me. They get overshadowed by Delena so much. No words can express how beautiful our SE was last night. The talk scene, Stefan crying, Elena talking about her decision, then the roof scene, kisses, Stefan giving her ring, hugs... Oh my.
