Susan Marshall cannot use her voice to speak and she cannot move her arms and legs due to the effects of Lou Gehrig's disease, but she still made it clear that for her upcoming Bat Mitzvah – she's having it later in life at 53 – she wants Steven Tyler of Aerosmith to perform.
Marshall, a resident of Menorah Park's Fairmount Pavilion, tapped out her request on a tiny computer using a device attached to her forehead. Tyler's parents, she explained, had been at her parents' wedding. There was a family connection.
I really feel the need to punch the crap out of whoever wrote "has one of the worst possible voices". Because that is so untrue. Steven's voice beats all the Beatles combined.
I really don’t want to see this happen. This is like when Avril Lavigne covered “Fuel” at the Metallica MTV Icon airing (even though Metallica sucks), except this is Steven Tyler, who arguable has one of the worst possible voices to replace Lennon and Harrison alongside Paul (he’s probably even worse than Ringo). It's like asking Joe Cocker to cover "Ave Maria."
It’s official: Steven Tyler is leaving “American Idol” and will return to being an actual rock idol, Fox confirmed. The Aerosmith frontman served as a judge during the 10th and 11th seasons of the reality TV competition.
