I am 19 this year and only recently became a Super Junior fan. I was never the fangirl type since young (rather, the studious and 'nerdy' type). It all started when I was introduced to KPop after watching bof and liking the theme song. SS501 was the first KPOP group I learnt about; ever since then I started watching kpop related youtube vids and fell in love w Super Junior. I am still amazed how I transformed into such a SUJU fangirl within months. I think Super Junior really appeals to me because of their teamwork and individual charisma. Seriously would love to meet them irl someday.. but I need to learn some korean first. XD

I was on internet voting for an other korean gruop for the MNET Asian Music Festival but the problem was i had to vote for all categories so i had to choose someone else other then the group i was voting for. I didn't want to vote for some group i didn't know so i started searching almost all the nominated ones on youtube. I typed Super Junior and the first song that came out was SuperGirl (Mandarin Version) of Super Junior-M. I really thought that was Super junior and i wasn't sure i liked them or not (i voted for them anyways :P). The next day i went to vote again, and i saw SUJU were always in the first place for all the categories they were nominated for, so i decided to listen to an other song of them and found Bonamana...well after that i understood why they were first in all the categories XD (i'm not saying i don't like the song SuperGirl i actually love now XD) and i also realised there were way more members :P
To end this, i found them thanks to an other korean group, and yeah i found them pretty late compared to other groups but plese forgive me i've been in kpop only for one year now but didn't follow it as much as now since i was and still am in jrock for way more time. 3 years now i think... so yeah i followed that way more...
