we all noticed that Dean has changed through all seasons but this time he changed like BIG TIME! he is still the dean we all love but not the one we used to know,i'm not sure if y'all woulg agree but that what i saw thrown this season!

It's that time of year, another chance to go through the season gone by and examine closely how the beleaguered Winchester brothers fared in their fight against all odds. Needless to say, we're talking some major damage to their emotional and physical well being. Thanks apocalypse! Up first, the elder Winchester.

--------------------------

Dean's character progression, much like the past two seasons, took a really intriguing turn in season five. Season three was Dean's season of self actualization. Season four was all about his character test. Season five too had plenty of tests, but for Dean it all ended up being about survival. Not just his though. So much more was at stake than his and Sam's safety. He had to step up and save the world. By the end he suceeded against impossible odds but it cost him everything. He became exactly what he didn't want to be, the last man standing. He...

Pretty much what it says on the tin. Dean's emotions in the week between 2x22 and 3x01, just before 3x01

I could feel Sam’s stubborn gaze penetrating me from across the Impala; he was pissed off, and he had every reason to be, I guess. I concentrated on the road ahead to avoid looking in his direction. I would have done anything to prevent how we were now, but I’d had no choice, and as long as Sam knew that, I could die happy. It had been nearly a week since we’d let the Devil’s Gate get opened, and released all those demons onto an unsuspecting human race. I had become extremely good at reading my brother’s emotions, and knew by glancing at him that not only did Sam feel a mixture of anger about my deal and determination to get me out of it, there was also a little sadness for me thrown in there, and a fair bit of guilt about letting the Gate get opened in the first place to weigh him down further. Over the last few days, it had finally come to me what I had gotten myself into with this deal. I knew I shouldn’t have done it; but what else was I supposed to do? Let Sammy die? So I summoned that bitch and made the deal right there and then; there was no...

This is a little description of what I think Sam was doing and feeling in the episode 4x01 Lazarus Rising, just before Dean and Bobby arrived on the scene, and then just after, with the brother’s reunion as well. Enjoy!

As I tightened my grip on Ruby’s wrist, I felt the familiar liquid slide down my throat and beat, almost like a second pulse, inside of me. The more I sucked in, the more power seemed to flow through me, like an electric charge. Yes, that was definitely the right word; electrifying. Scary as hell, yet exhilarating at the same time. I swallowed and breathed heavily, my hands unwillingly knowing that I had to let go; as always, it seemed too soon. I withdrew from Ruby, who smiled, and took a cloth from beside her to wrap around her arm. She wound it round and tied it tightly, easing the flow of blood. I got up, and sat next to her on the bed, wiping my mouth, once again realising just a minute too late that I was ashamed of what I had done. I held my hands together and looked down at my lap, avoiding Ruby’s gaze at all costs. Ruby sensed what I was feeling and her eyes began to bore into me; sympathetic, yet understanding simultaneously.

Ask any Supernatural fan what the shows about, They will all say similar things. They will say it's a show about two brothers that hunt demons, ghosts and your worst nightmares. They may include some details about castiel or the metallicar. But there still very alike.

But if you look deeper you will see that past all the heaven, hell, angels and deamons. That it's about to brothers. SAM AND DEAN. To brothers that will do anything for each other. From the first to the last episode in every series so far. Dean has been protecting Sam.  And Sam has been looking out for dean.

Now in most episodes you just see them fight a few monsters, save a few people, and make some friends. They drive away and never look back. But in a few episodes, if your lucky,  you get to see behind the masks of Sam and dean, and see how they really feel. You see how deans always felt he had to protect Sam from everything, and let him have a normal life. And how Sam has always looked up to dean.

Season 5 DVD Cover
I suppose when one thinks of the supernatural one tends to think of ghosts, vampires, werewolves and demons and the horror and fear that usually come with them. And all of these things ring true in the television series, Supernatural.

It starts out like any horror story; an ordinary family, in an ordinary town, in an ordinary street, leading ordinary lives. John and Mary Winchester (Jeffery Dean Morgan, Samantha Smith) put their sons, Dean and Sam to bed. In the dark, the lights flicker, and a shadowy figures appears. A bloodcurdling scream rings out and we look on with John as the impossible happens; Mary sprawled across the ceiling, bloody, frozen and suddenly bursts into flames which quickly engulfs the entire room. The ordinary is then gone forever.

The story then moves forward. Dean and Sam (Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki) grow up and before long are on a search to find their father who has disappeared. It's quickly learnt that they hunt the supernatural beings of the world and also that all nightmares are real, most people just don't know it.

Sharon waved good-bye to D and Samantha when they dropped her off at her house. Samantha was very quiet. D asked Sharon, “You all right?”

“Yeah,” Sharon said. “I mean, I’m gonna need time to wrap my head around all this, but I’m okay.” She sighed heavily. “You know, I actually feel kinda sorry for her.”

D and Samantha both looked at her in disbelief.

“I mean, she had such a hard life, and she was so alone.”

“She killed your family,” Samantha reminded her.

“Yeah, I know, but…” Sharon sighed again. “Maybe I’m just too soft-hearted, but all she wanted was family to be there for her and understand her.” She shrugged and went up to the house.

--------------------------------------------------

“I think Sharon’s a bit of a whack-job herself,” D said when they got back to the hotel room. After the long, incredible job they’d just finished, they decided to spend the night before heading out in the morning in search of a new bloodthirsty monster.

They got in the car, D driving and Samantha sitting in the backseat with Sharon. “So the plan is… what?” asked Samantha.

“Get out in the open,” D said. She looked at Sharon in the rearview mirror. “You did say that she said she’d get zapped back if she wasn’t undercover?”

Sharon nodded. “Immediately.”

“Awesome. We’ll find someplace wide open-”

“And I’ll draw her to me,” Sharon finished for her.

The girls looked at her in surprise. “You sure?” asked Samantha.

Sharon nodded. “If she told the truth, I should be perfectly safe. She’ll be gone before she can do me any harm.”

Samantha’s phone rang, and she opened it quickly. “Sam?”

--------------------------------------------------

“What’s going on?” asked Sam.

“Uh… it’s not good,” Samantha replied.

“We burned the bones,” Sam said.

“I know,” Samantha said. “They had some sort of effect on her. Now she’s really pissed. She’s tied to this world, Sam. The only way to destroy her is to get her back...

Hearing Sharon’s scream, D and Samantha threw themselves off the bed and ran to the bathroom door. Sharon threw the door open and rushed out, pointing back at the mirror over the sink. The ghost was climbing out of the mirror, following Sharon.

“What the hell?” D said, her eyes nearly popping out of her head.

“I thought you killed Bloody Mary back in 2005,” Samantha said.

“You did,” the ghost said. “But in the strange world of parallel time, spirits have almost unlimited powers.

“You cocky bitches and your conceited bastard friends really think you can destroy me by burning my bones? I live here. This is my home. You’ll have to drag my ass back in order to destroy me.

“Read the classics. Through the Looking Glass. Mirrors, to a spirit, are a gateway to another world. My spirit was wandering. I stepped through a mirror into this world and haven’t gone back since.”

“Why?” demanded Sharon. “Why’d you kill them?”

Dean drove straight into the purple flash. It engulfed them, swallowed them, and spit them back out. Dean looked around him. At first glance, nothing had changed. They were headed north on the road in front of the Best Western in Iola, Kansas. A second glance at the parking lot, however, revealed the truth. The girls were gone, along with the second Impala.

Dean whooped. “Yeah, baby! You know, when you know what that thing is, it’s kind of a rush.” He grinned widely and looked over at Sam, expecting to see Sam’s trademark bitchface glaring at him.

Sam stared out the window, saying nothing, not even seeing the lightning all around them.

Dean snapped his fingers. “Hey! Sammy! You in there?”

Sam looked up suddenly, startled. “Huh?”

Dean grinned. “Still thinking about the girls?”

Sam nodded somberly. “Yeah, I am, actually.”

“D was pretty hot, wasn’t she?” Dean commented. “Samantha was kinda cute, too.”

Sam’s idea consisted of telling the police and hospital staff that Amy had been attacked for her handbag and money just outside the motel, and shot as a result, but the attacker had gotten away before Dean and Sam had made it outside to chase him. They didn’t see his face clearly, either. Dean’s wound, as far as they were concerned, hadn’t happened.
After Sam gave Dean a hand patching up his shoulder, they began clearing up the basement and their bedroom, apologizing to Amy whilst doing so. Not that much was damaged, but still, as a fellow hunter, the brothers felt they had to give a little bit back to her before they hit the road again. Dean seemed to have no problem with making things up to Amy, and Sam decided for his own benefit to give them a little privacy for the rest of the night and stayed in the room next door; not that he got much peace a quiet to sleep, of course.
The following morning, Dean woke up to find Amy under the covers next to him. He lay back in bed and smiled. This whole thing had turned out pretty well, really. At the beginning of his last year, he has used to think that having these sorts of nights and hunting to take his mind...

Sam gave a brief nod and turned towards the door, and Dean and Amy followed suit. His father’s training kicked in as Dean’s automatic thought became tactics on how to tackle the demon when it came through the door. He looked at Amy.
“Go to the window at the back of the room – that way, if Sam and I get distracted and it thinks we’re the only ones here, you can surprise the son of a bitch!” he called over to her.
Amy looked suddenly doubtful at the prospect of not huddling in a group any more, and from being a noticeable distance from them. Sam caught her look and tried to reassure her.
“Look, we’ll be fine, we’ll look out for you, alright?”
Amy swallowed and nodded, then turned round to walk across her devil’s trap and to the other end of the room, but stopped, not advancing even one step. Sam and Dean looked from the door, to each other, to her.
“Amy, you hear me?”
Before Amy could even reply, the deafening rattling of the ceiling and door stopped as abruptly as it had started, and the aftermath of the weak wood being shaken so much rang in the sudden silence.

Two hours and three frustrated hunters later, Sam, Dean and Amy were no closer to exorcising the demon, simply because it hadn’t shown up yet.
Dean was the first to break the silence.
“Cards, anyone?”
Sam and Amy gave him annoyed looks, and then returned back into their own thoughts again. After all, Sam had a lot to think about, and so did Dean, he thought. So why did he insist on putting on this act of not caring? He felt a twinge of annoyance at the relaxed and calm features of his brother’s face, but then, Sam remembered, he’d always been like that. It was very rare for him to admit that he was scared, nervous or unsure about something in any way, shape or form, although occasionally they did seep through the seemingly impenetrable fortress of Dean’s mask. For some reason, a particular memory suddenly floated to the surface in Sam’s memory; it was back when Sam was just starting to hunt with his brother again, very soon after Jess’s death, and they were trying to find their father. Sam sighed at the apparent ease at which their lives had once had. They had been helping to stop a spirit in a lake, and whilst trying to get information...

“This sucks!” Dean complained, suddenly catching his brother’s attention. Sam’s head whipped round, to see his brother glaring out of the dark window-screen. “Hmm...” Sam replied, barley paying attention, as his mind remained focused to the news article in his hands, which had become their new case.

’22 year old Emma rangers, found dead at her apartment in Colorado Springs. No finger-prints or any other evidence found. The woman had been clawed to pieces before having her throat slit.’

Sam contemplated this. A ghost maybe? It did seem to have similar aspects with a White Lady. But these victims were female? Not the usual targets... Sam’s thoughts drifted back to the brother’s first case, after being reunited. He remembered how good it felt to be hunting with Dean again. He couldn’t help smiling at the memory. But then of course, the next few memories that followed weren’t as pleasant. His grin faded as he pictured jess, on the ceiling...soaked in blood.

We got to the motel me and dean went in to the room while sam went to the main office to extend ower stay at the motel.Dean turned on the t.v and i sat on the chair i felt so sticky and dirty i had to take a shower! i grabed some of my clouths and told dean i was going to take a shower "want me to join you" dean smirked "no thanks" i laugh.I was in the shower for about 30 minutes i never took this long befor in a shower but the warm water going down my face felt so good.Wen i got out of the shower i put on black jeans and a gray T-shirt.

"He went to go get some food" dean said with out even looking up from the t.v. Dean was sitting at the end of the bed and i fell on the uper part of it I buried my face in the pillow. Dean stared at Sam in open-mouthed amazement. “The doorway between worlds?”

“Don’t you remember, Dean?” asked Sam. “After we finished the last case, we ran into that weird storm, just like this one, in Ohio.”

Dean thought and nodded. “Oh, yeah, yeah, I do remember. It hit like a ton of bricks, then there was that blinding flash, and then it was over, just like it had never happened. And then we stopped in at that little diner for supper.”

Sam nodded, his face tight and pensive. “And that’s where we found the newspaper headline about Richard Walker’s death.”

“When was this?” asked Samantha. “What time?”

“Uh… about seven o’clock, the night before we came here.”

Samantha looked over at D. “We left that diner just before seven. That’s the deviation we were looking for. The storm slowed you down and when you came through, you did everything we did, just about half an hour later.”

“Yeah,” D said, “come to think of it, we had just gotten into our room when you boys showed up.”

D stared at Samantha for a moment and said, “So you’re telling me that Sharon's family is being ganked by Sharon's ghost from our world?”

Samantha shrugged. “It’s the most plausible thing we could think of.”

“The most plausible?” said Dean. “What was the least?”

“Sammy,” D said, “come on, girl, you’ve gotta admit, this whole thing is pretty crazy. ‘Dingo ate my baby’ crazy.”

“So what do you call this whole damn case?” her sister retorted.

D nodded reluctantly and conceded, “‘Dingo ate my baby’ crazy.”

Sam put in, “Yeah, it’s a stretch, but when you look at all the facts, it’s the only thing that seems to make sense.”

Dean pursed his lips thoughtfully. “Okay,” he said, holding up his hands to signal for silence while his mind absorbed their proposition, “so let’s say this really is what’s going on. What can we do about it? We can’t even get our own asses out of here. How are we supposed to drag some freaking ghost back with us?”

Even Dean looked lost for words, which did not occur too often, he could promise. Sam exchanged looks with his brother, then found his voice.
“How d’you know that?”
Amy shrugged. “I’ve been one myself heading of ten years now. Since I was sixteen.”
Sam and Dean exchanged looks, and silently decided between themselves to trust and believe her as one of their few allies.
“So how did you recognise us? We’re pretty good at keeping under the radar,” argued Dean.
“I saw you loading some weapons into your trunk this morning, and the way you kept yourselves to yourselves, and go quiet when my staff approach you...” She shrugged. “It wasn’t hard.”
“Oh,” Dean raised his eyebrows. “Well I guess we’ll have to do a better job next time. You want to help us out or just slate our tactics?”
Amy smirked as Dean teased her. “Bit of both, maybe.”
Sam grinned. It was nice to have someone on their side for a change. For so long, everything had been going against them; it was good to have a bit of luck for once.

Awesome car
The black, four door, '67 impala is one of the most important props on the show. Would it be the same without it? Over the past five series its: been 'smashed up', rebuilt - many times, almost split in 2 by a killer truck, seen the end, and many many more... So what makes the metallicar so special to us?

One aspect is the style of car. You may have noticed how there's a lot of rock music playing, and some of the titles are also named after rock songs. You also learn in the first episode that dean likes rock bands. The car fits into this theme. And it wouldn't be the same if it was, a 'Renault clio' or something.

I think all SPN fans will agree that it's like a third winchester. In the S5 finale it said 'The impala of course, has all the things that other cars have... and a few things they don't.' This statement couldn't be more true. It has personal aspects. Which only makes us love it more. We don't care if its a fictional show, with fictional characters. It's the only real home the brothers know.

The demon’s face faltered a little as she picked up on the seriousness in Dean’s voice. She put on a higher, more hysterical tone.
“No, please don’t! I swear we’ll leave town if you let me go! We won’t bother hunters again! Please!”
Dean looked at Sam, who looked torn. “She’s faking. Send her back.”
As Sam turned round to get his exorcism book from the bed and Dean’s gaze was still fixed on him, the demon reached out and pulled Dean into the circle, who had only been a few inches away. The moment of distraction had cost them both. The girl threw Dean on the floor, who skidded slightly, racking up the rug to reveal the devil’s trap, and threw a hard punch as her fist cracked against Dean’s face.
Sam spun round and ran towards the demon, but without even touching him, she flung Sam into the doorway a few metres away. The demon turned back to Dean and punched him again, hard.
“You’ll get like me one day, you know that, don’t you? When you burn and scream, and get driven crazy? You’ll become your own arch enemy,” she snarled in Dean’s ear, a patch of bruised, sore skin rapidly appearing on his right...

The demon looked at the floor around her feet for a way out then realised that even if she broke through the devil’s trap, she was still trapped in the room with the Winchesters, who not only had an exorcism ritual, but also the knife that was able to kill her kind.
Sam began to walk towards her, still staying out of the circle, as Dean paced back and forth behind him, near the door.
“So what are you doing here?”
She looked up smugly. “You honestly think I’m going to tell you?”
“Yeah, we do, actually,” Dean piped up from behind his brother, taking a small metal container from his pocket and unscrewing it. He then walked towards her and threw clear liquid over her; the demon writhed and screamed as the holy water met its target.
“So,” continued Dean, “is that your final answer?”
The girl, still gasping from the burning pain of the holy water, looked up at Sam and Dean, her eyes once again midnight black.
“We’re having fun. Just like any normal people. We’re just doing what we love doing most.”

Season 5 Title Card
Supernatural is a TV horror series about two brothers who travel around the country, killing vampires, ghosts, demons, and every other nightmare creature that’s ever been mentioned in any myth, legend, book, or movie. So far, the series has lasted five seasons and is preparing for a sixth. Throughout the first five seasons, the brothers, Dean and Sam Winchester, played by Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, embarked on an adventure of endless surprises. At first, it seemed simple- kill the demon that killed their mother and instilled in the family an urge t hunt the evil things of the night. But things quickly became complicated, and the two young men inadvertently set off the Apocalypse, which could only end in the death of one or both brothers in their efforts to undo the damage they’d done. Along the way, the boys receive help from several of their father’s old friends, as well as an angel named Castiel, played by Misha Collins.

Any description of this show makes it sound like a fantastic, impossible fairy tale. But the overall plot and the individual episodes are written so well that fans have a hard time disbelieving them. Eventually, the character and...
