Flynn Rider: This is the story of how I died, but don't worry this actually a pretty "fun" story and the truth is... It isn't even mine. This is the story of a girl named Rapunzel, and it starts with the sun. Now, once upon a time, a single drop of sunlight fell from the Heavens. And from this small drop of sun grew a magic golden flower. It has the ability to heal the sick and injured. Oh, you see that old woman over there? You might wanna remember her. She's kinda important. Well, centuries past and a hop, skip and a boat ride away... there grew a kingdom. The kingdom was ruled by the beloved queen and king. And the queen, well, she was about to have a baby. And she got sick, really sick, and she was running out of time. That's when people usually start to look for a miracle...or in case, the magic golden flower. Ah I told you she'd be important, you see instead of sharing the Sun's gift this woman, Mother Gothel, hoarded its healing power to keep her self young for hundreds of years and all she had to do was sing a special song. "Flower gleam and glow, let your powers shine. Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine, what once was mine." Alright, you get the chess, she sings to it she turns young. Creepy am I right? "We found it!" The magic of the golden flower healed the queen. A healthy baby girl, a princess, was born. With beautiful golden hair. I'll give you a hint, that's Rapunzel. To celebrate her birth, the king and Queen launched a flying lantern into the sky. For that moment, everything was perfect...and then that moment ended. Gothel broke into the castle, stole the child and just like that- Gone. The kingdom searched and searched, but they could not find the princess. For deep with in the forest, in a hidden tower, Gothel raised the child as her own. Gothel had found her new magic flower. But this time she was determined to keep it hidden. 
Rapunzel- "Why can't I go outside?"
Gothel- "The outside world is a dangerous place. 
Filled with horrible selfish people. You must stay 
hidden here, where you're safe. Do you understand flower?"
Rapunzel:"Yes mommy"
Flynn rider: But the walls of that tower could not hide everything. Each year, on her birthday, the King and Queen released a thousand lanterns into the sky. In hope that one day, their lost princess would return.

Rapunzel- Aha! Hmm, I guess pascals not hiding out here...... GOTCHA
Rapunzel: That's twenty two for me, how about twenty three out of forty five?
Rapunzel: Well, what do you wanna do?
Rapunzel: I like it in here and so do you!
Rapunzel: C'mon, it's not so bad
Rapunzel- Seven a.m. the usual morning line up
Start up the chores and sweep 'till the floors all clean
Polish and wax do laundry and mop and shine-up
Sweep again and by then it's like seven- fifth teen
And so I'll read a book or maybe two or three
I'll add a few new paintings to my gallery 
I'll play guitar and knit and cook and basically 
just wander when will my life begin?
Then after lunch it's puzzles and darts and baking
Paper mâché, a bit of ballet and chess
Potery, ventriloquy, candle making
Then I'll stretch maybe sketch take a climb
Sew a dress!
And I'll read the books if I have time to spare
I'll paint the walls some more I'm sure there's room somewhere 
And then I'll brush and brush and brush and brush my hair
Stuck in the same place I've always been 
And I'll keep wandering and wandering and wandering and wandering
When will my life begin?
Tomorrow night Lights will appear
Just like they do on my birthday each year
What is it like? Out there will they glow?
Now that I'm older, mother might just let me go

Flynn- Wow! I could get used to a view like this
Stabbington brother-Rider! C'mon!
Flynn- Hold on. Yep, I'm used to it. Guys I want a castle 
Stabbington brother- We do this job, you can buy your own castle
Guard- Achoo!
Flynn: Oh, hate fever?
Guard- Yeah. Huh? Wa-wait! Hey wait!
Flynn- Can you picture me in a castle of my own? Cause I certainly can
Flynn- All the things we've seen and it's only eight in the morning! Gentlemen this is a very big day!

Rapunzel- This is it! This is a very big day, Pascal! Im gonna do it! I'm gonna ask her!
Mother Gothel- Rapunzel! Let down you hair!
Rapunzel: It's time! I know, I know. Come on. Don't let her see you
Mother Gothel: Rapunzel. I'm not getting any younger down here
Rapunzel: Coming, Mother! 
Rapunzel: Hi, welcome home mother 
Mother Gothel: Oh! Rapunzel! How you manage to do it every single day without fail. It looks absolutely exhausting, darling
Rapunzel: Oh, it's nothing
Mother Gothel: The I don't know why it takes so long! Darling I'm just teasing
Rapunzel: Alright. So, mother, as you know tomorrow is a very big day
Mother Gothel: Rapunzel look in that mirror. You want to know what I see. A strong, confident, beautiful young lady. Oh look you're here too! I'm just teasing. Stop taking everything so seriously 
Rapunzel: Okay. So, mother, as I was saying, tomorrow-
Mother Gothel: Rapunzel, Mothers feeling a bit run down. Would you sing for me, dear? Then we'll talk.
Rapunzel: Oh! Of course, Mother! Flower gleam and glow, let your powers shine. Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine, what once was mine.
Mother Gothel: Rapunzel!
Rapunzel: so as I was saying, tomorrow is a pretty big day. And you didn't really respond so I'm just going to tell you, It's my birthday! Tada! 
Mother Gothel: No, no, no. Cant be. I distinctly remember, your birthday was last year
Rapunzel: that's the funny thing about birthdays, there kind of an annual thing. Mother, I'm turning eighteen and I wanted to ask, what I really want for this birthday. Actually what I wanted for quite a few birthdays.
Mother Gothel: Okay, Okay, Rapunzel please stop with the mumbling. You know how I feel about the mumbling. Blah blah blah blah blah. It's very annoying. I'm just teasing. You're adorable I love you so much, darling.
Rapunzel: I want to see the floating lights!
Mother Gothel: what? 
Rapunzel: Oh well, I was hoping you would take me to see the floating lights
Mother Gothel: Oh, you mean the stars.
Rapunzel: that's the thing. I've charted stars, and they're always constant. But these, they appear every year on my birthday mother, only on my birthday. And I can't help a feel like they're, they're meant for me. I need to see them mother, not just from my window but in person, I need to know what they are.
Mother Gothel: you want to go go outside, why Rapunzel 
Mother Gothel: Look at you, as fragile as a flower. Still a little sapling, just a sprout. You know why we stay up in this tower. 
Rapunzel: I know but-
Mother Gothel: That's right, to keep you safe and sound dear. Yes, I always knew this day was coming, soon you'd want to leave the nest. Soon but not yet.
Rapunzel: But-
Mother Gothel: trust me pet, Mother knows best! Mother knows best, listen to your mother, it's a scary world out there. Mother knows beat, one way or another. Something will go wrong, I swear! Ruffians, thugs, poison Ivey, quick sand, cannibals and snakes, the plague
Rapunzel: No
Mother Gothel: Yes
Rapunzel: But
Mother Gothel: Also large bugs, men with pointy teeth and stop no more you'll just upset me. Mothers right here mothers here to help you, darling here's what I suggest. Skip the drama stay with mama. Mother knows best, take it from you musmy. On your own, you won't survive. Sloppy under dressed, immature clumsy. Please, they'll eat you up alive. Gullible, naive, positively grubby. Ditzy and a bit, well, hmmm, vague. Plus I believe, gettin' kind of chubby. I'm just saying 'cause I love you. Mother understands mothers here to help you. All I have is one Request. Rapunzel?
Rapunzel: yes?
Mother Gothel: Don't ever ask me to leave this tower again
Rapunzel: Yes mother
Mother Gothel: I love you very much dear
Rapunzel: I love you more
Mother Gothel: I love you most
Mother: Don't forget it, you'll regret it... Mother knows best!
Mother Gothel: Tata! I'll see you in a bit my flower 
Rapunzel: I'll be here

Flynn Rider: Oh no, no no no no no. This is bad, this is very very bad. This is really bad. They just can't get my nose right!
Stabbington brother: who cares
Flynn Rider: Well it's easy for you to say, you guys look amazing
Flynn Rider: Give me a boost and I'll pull you up
Stabbington brother: Give us the satchel first
Flynn Rider: I can't believe that after all we've been through, you don't trust me. Ouch
Stabbington brother: Now help us up pretty boy 
Flynn Rider: Sorry, my hands are full.
Stabbington brother: RIDER!
Guard: Retrieve that satchel at any cost!
Other guards: Yes sir! 
Guard: we've got him now Maximus!
Flynn rider: Come on. Forward fleabag. No. Stop it. Stop it! Give it to me! Ha!
