Tatiana Stephanie Yvonne Thumbtzen (born April 22, 1960) is an American actress, model and dancer. She is mostly well known for her role in portraying the love interest of pop star Michael Jackson in the "The Way You Make Me Feel" music video off his seventh studio album, Bad.[1][2]

Thumbtzen began to train in ballet dance at the age of eight, and moved to New York when she was thirteen on a ballet scholarship, where she studied at Juilliard in the school of American Ballet, a training camp for choreographer George Balanchine of the New York City Ballet Company.

Tatiana is of African-American, Cherokee Indian, Cuban, & Irish heritage. Tatiana's family name is of German decent.

She stated in an interview that through dance, she acquired a contract for modelling, and by age nineteen, she had gone to Japan to start her career as a model. Once returning to New York, Thumbtzen began working on a Harry Belafonte Production film, Beat Street, before moving to Los Angeles at the end of 1986 to begin working on commercials and print-work. I've seriously thought long & hard about wanting to share, what I thought/felt was a bit of a similar /eerie story as to what Tatiana Yvonne(Michael Jackson's video co-star from "The Way You Make Me Feel") had gone through.

Out of respect, I will not mention my friend's name so as not to embarrass him at all in any way, in case he does come across this at any given time, however, he does know who he is.

To this very day, I still have not, nor will I ever forget it.

Anyways, lets get started then shall we... it all started at the very beginning of my high school years which was back in the fall of 2002.

I was a freshman, & my best friend was a sophomore at the time.

It happened prolly around the month of October, & one day I walked up to where he was sitting, & I spoke to him.

Then, out of the blue, he asked me if I wanted to see a musical that was playing(that was if he was going at the time) & I told him that I needed to get my grandmother's permission.
