Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Christopher Moore, now known as Lil Twist, was impressing friends and family with his rhyming skills even at a young age, ten years old, this little rapper was already gaining a reputation throughout Dallas as a big talent. He became popular with locals for his song “Texas Twist.”

A Twist of Fate

Lucky for Lil Twist, he was spotted by record-breaking rap artist Lil Wayne when he opened a show for him in Dallas. Lil Wayne flew him out to a studio in Atlanta where he blew everyone’s socks off with his amazing freestyle, Lil Wayne signed him to his label Young Money Entertainment in May 2010.

Touring, Tapes and Tunes

Shortly after showing Lil Wayne his skills, Lil Twist went on tour with him for a year, and also recorded two mixtapes, The Yearbook and Class President. His upcoming album, rumored to be titled Don’t Get It Twisted and is also recording a mixtape with Justin Bieber!
