Stephanie Sanchez
The latest real crime story to get a reboot as a network television is “Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders”. And, if you thought the original murder case of Lyle and Erik Menendez was riveting, then you’re going to love this show.

Actress Stephanie Sanchez steps into the all-star cast as ‘Linda’, the assistant to Defense Attorney Leslie Abramson, portrayed by Edie Falco.

Stephanie has appeared on numerous TV shows, including "Jane the Virgin," "Life in Pieces," "Grey’s Anatomy," "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," "Shooter" and most recently the new CW military drama, "Valor."

A California native, Stephanie earned a degree from the University of Notre Dame and was part of the Navy ROTC program. Afterwards, she was commissioned an Officer in the U.S. Navy and was twice awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for her anti-terrorist efforts while deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Stephanie Sanchez recently took some time to answer some questions about her latest role:

There are quite a lot of awesome tv shows in production in 2017, so lots of great shows can slip through the cracks. Here are 5 under-watched shows that I thought I'd promote as damn fine viewing!

5. Fortitude

It is a little hard to describe what Fortitude is about without spoiling it, but basically it follows the weird and violent events that occur in an arctic town called Fortitude. It can get pretty gruesome, creepy and weird in this isolated little town. The plot and the characters are intriguing, and there is some beautiful cinematography capturing icy arctic landscapes.

The cast is pretty great and all give awesome performances. 'Game Of Thrones' fans will recognise Richard Dormer and Michelle Fairley; 'Forbrydelsen' fans will recognise Sofie Gråbøl; 'Harry Potter' will recognise Michael Gambon; and 'Doctor Who' fans will recognise Christopher Eccleston. Other notable cast members are Stanley Tucci, Dennis Quaid, Parminder Nagra, Mia Jexen and Robert Sheehan.

Christine Syron
Most people love a classic ‘who-done-it’ type of story. Investigation Discovery (ID) has been playing into that by serving up true-crime tragedies with their popular series link

Actress link has appeared in not one, but two episodes of this homicidal re-enactment show about friends murdering friends. The most recent titled “Band of Brothers,” finds Christine as a single mother faced with the brutal death of her son.

Of course, Christine has done some other stuff, too. She can be seen on the festival circuit right now in the dark comedy “Jesse’s Girl,” and she’s shooting a recurring role in the satirical web series “Blactually.” Also, before she took up acting, Christine was a member of New York’s famed Joffrey Ballet.

Christine Syron took some time to answer a few questions:

Nobody likes a know-it-all, but sometimes you’re glad to have one around. Enter Adam Conover and his hilarious investigative series link on TruTV.

In the recent episode “Adam Ruins Weight Loss,” actress link joins in the debunking activities as a Southern Chef going head-to-head with fat-free foods. Spoiler alert – they’re not so good for you.

What is good is Melanie. We discovered that she can also be seen in a couple of indie films streaming online, including the coming-of-age drama A COUNTRY CALLED HOME, and the touching drama HEARTLAND.

A proven character actress, Melanie has been working non-stop lately. Her credits include indie films like THE LAST MARK, TENDER MOMENTS and the upcoming ANTIQUITIES. She’s also appeared on the television in THE MIDDLE, SALEM, A FACE TO KILL FOR, THE CON, ARREST & TRIAL, and THE DAILY APPLE. The Houston, Texas native, who now spends time in Los Angeles, has deep roots in the south, starting her performing career as a...

I love the show of 24 and I decided to rank the my favorite characters, this time minus spoilers for those who may have not seen the show or may have not seen all of it. Here goes with the first (and obvious) favorite character:

Jack Bauer –

Where in the world do you start with Jack Bauer? First of all he is the best TV character of all time, barring no one. He suffers tragic loss and extreme pain and torture (as well as inflicting some himself) takes out the bad guys and saves the world from horrific terror attacks, all in 24 hours, time after time! He is very loyal, shows no mercy and looks awesome with a gun and sunglasses. He is a modern superhero who is unforgettable and can always be relied upon to save the day. Plus he’s the one character you never have to worry about dying, no matter how much danger he’s in. He works at the L.A. Counter Terrorism Unit and is a key member of their team, serving in various positions throughout his career and is close to several people who work there, who can always be relied upon to have his back, when no one else does. His family members include his wife Teri and daughter Kim, both of which unwittingly...

I love TV shows, movies just can’t compare. That being said, I haven’t watched many TV shows, I’m picky and most don’t appeal. (No vampires, romance shows for instance, just don’t like them) Currently these are my favorite shows (from least favorite to favorite) starting with:

23. Burn Notice

(7 Seasons, 2007-2013)

Michael Westen is a spy for the United States…until he receives his burn notice…which essentially means his career is over. Stuck in his old hometown of Miami, he intends to find out who did this and why, not an easy task. With the burn notice tainting his name he is cut off from his usual contacts and has to stay low key, lest he tip off his unknown enemy. His team to solve that important mystery along with others are Fiona, his kooky ex-girlfriend and IRA spy, and his friend Sam, also a former spy. Then there’s Madeline, Michael’s mother…not the most sane person you’ll ever meet.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a popular animated show that stars 6 female ponies.

Plot

Twilight Sparkle is a student of Princess Celestia who moves to Ponyville to finally get some friends. She becomes best friends with 5 female ponies: Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie. The 6 of them learn important lessons along with Spike (Twilight's helper), the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Starlight Glimmer, and Discord.

A show about ponies learning lessons seemed like a repetitive and boring plot, but this show is oddly very special. Although the lessons may not be very interesting the show's clever and fun writing makes the show far more unique than other shows. The show combines cuteness and humor very well.

Characters

Twilight Sparkle is a loveable and cute character. Twilight is my favorite of the main characters. Applejack is admirable, Rainbow Dash is kind of cool, Fluttershy is sweet, Rarity is fancy and funny, and Pinkie Pie looks cool. The show has other good characters like Starlight Glimmer and the Flim Flam brothers. The show's biggest stand out character is Discord. Discord is such a...

It’s summer…the best time of year to binge on all the shows you haven’t had time for until now.

The latest worthy of watching is the all-new Season 3 of Netflix’s fan-fav comedy UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT.

The lovable Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) returns with a hankering to hit the books as she heads to college. Her new educational outing brings a fresh pack of college besties, including ‘Josie’ played by actress Rachael Meyers. Standing at 6’2”, this real-life former collegiate athlete brings her A-game to the series, scoring plenty of laughs.

Rachael Meyers recently took time to answer a few questions:

Describe for us your role on UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT.

RACHAEL: I play one of Xan's three roommates - a trio of athletes committed to their team. We don't like Xan, but we love Kimmy.

How was it to work alongside Ellie Kemper? And, also with the creator Tina Fey?

RACHAEL: They were both wonderful. Ellie is so vibrant and gracious. Every morning you were greeted with a smile, even though you know, being a new mom, she was probably up all night. She...

I just finished reading a list of the "greatest" LGBT characters ever on TV. I was not impressed. So I decided that instead of wasting time bitching about their lame list, I'd just make my own. Weird, huh? ;D

This was originally going to be a list of 10. Then I kept thinking of more. I finally managed to cut myself off at 25. There are a lot of great LGBT characters out there, okay? Anyway, these shouldn't contain any show spoilers, so here ya go:

#1 - Tara Chambler (The Walking Dead)
Tara Chambler is an actual ray of sunshine sent by the TV gods to make The Walking Dead a more tolerable show. She brings a much-needed lightness to TWD and is the one that has to keep reminding these dummies that they need to stick together. So stop making bad things happen to people she loves, dammit.

#2 - Yara Greyjoy (Game of Thrones)
Yara. Asha. Whatever you want to call her, there's no denying that she's a badass pirate princess. She's orchestrated raids, rescue missions, and a great escape. She stands up for what she believes is right, protects her own, and...

I have a lot of favorites, not brand new tv shows, I haven't seen any, though I would like to I just haven't had the time.

1. Friends

I love friends is my favorite show. Though I didn't start watching it until after I graduated from High School. But I still love it however I hate Ross and Rachel as a couple, I loath them as a couple. I find Ross too controling, he gets jealous easily when it comes to what guys Rachel talks to not including Joey or Chandler. It just really frustrates me that people like them together so much, obviously people don't see the bad in their relationship.

2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I have loved Buffy for a very long time. For the longest time I had wanted to be like Buffy, not because she kills demons and vampires but because she is tough, confidant and can stand up for herself. She doesn't let anyone bring her down. Though there is one downfall to the show for me, is Dawn, Buffy's sister. She made me really dislike the last 3 seasons. So, did Riley, I found him to be incredibly boring and annoying,...

This review is dedicated to Adam West: the best Batman of all time.

The New Adventures of Batman is a 1977 animated show. It was made by Filmation who also made the first He-Man television show.

Plot

Batman, Robin, Batgirl, and Bat-Mite protect Gotham City from the villains. Bat-Mite tries to be helpful, but often causes conflicts for the Dynamic Duo. Each episode had a lesson for the kids to learn.

This show is 40 years old. Back then plots were really simple and this show is proof of that. However the plots aren't bad. The show was meant for kids. 1 of the main reasons that the show works is for how enjoyably corny and silly the show is. In my opinion this show is even cornier than the live action Adam West show.

The Heroes

In this show Batman and Robin are voiced by Adam West and Burt Ward. Adam West is my favorite Batman. Mr. West was great at making Batman likeable and fun. This show's Batman is friendlier and less serious than other versions of Batman. I really like this show's lighthearted and fun Batman. Burt Ward did a good job at voicing Robin. Batgirl is forgettable, but okay. Bat-Mite has a...

Claire Cohen
The recent Lifetime movie Britney Ever After was not without some controversy. Her steadfast fans are not happy with the un-authorized biopic about their pop princess.

One upbeat note was the appearance of Aussie-actress Claire Cohen as Britney’s Assistant. Claire got to relive some of the stars best (and worst) moments.

This role isn’t the only one that Claire has been gaining attention for. She recently starred as in the black comedy indie film Skid Row Love as a young woman torn between love and heroin. She also appeared in the UN Human Rights office’s award winning short The Riddle supporting LGBTQ rights. She first hit the small screen back in Australian recurring as ‘Hazel’ on Nickelodeon’s hit-series Dance Academy.

Claire Cohen recently took time to answer a few questions:

Space Ghost Coast to Coast is a classic Cartoon Network show that has both animation and live action. The show stars Space Ghost who is also the star of a Hanna-Barbera action show.

The Plot:

Space Ghost becomes a talk show host. His enemies join him on the show. Zorak works on music and Moltar's the producer. Space Ghost has eccentric adventures with his guests and enemies.

This show may not be that plot heavy, but I don't think that it was trying to be. It's meant to be a weird and crazy animated show and it does that quite well. The show may lack a real plot, but some episodes sort of a plot. At least more than regular talk shows. The "plots" of the show may not be that complex, but the show's entertaining weirdness helps make this a good show.

The Characters:

Space Ghost is a really good leading character. Instead of being a noble super hero this version of him has questionable morals and acts like a goofball. These changes done to Space Ghost make him work as a comedic character. Zorak, Moltar, and the other enemies are pretty entertaining.

Actress Drea King recently appeared in an all-new episode of the spooky series which airs on Destination America (U.S.) and other networks around the globe.

Previously, Drea has been grabbing attention for her roles in award-winning projects in North American and the U.K., including A New Design, winner of the Bare Bones Festival ‘Best Foreign Picture’. Did you watch Sweet/Vicious? Do you know what it is? The thing that is certain is that you should definitely watch this new MTV show! Everyone should be watching this amazing series, and let me tell you why in this spoiler free article.

For me, it was really random. I don't watch MTV, and I didn't even have the channel up until last November, and getting it was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. I decided to get the channel so I could watch the last season of Teen Wolf live on TV instead of streaming it. Then on the night of the premiere, November 15th, I put it on and enjoyed the show. During the breaks, I kept seeing link for a show I didn't know, but it looked interesting. This show was called Sweet/Vicious, and they were announcing the first season starting right after Teen Wolf. I figured, I'm here already, might as well give it a try. I fell in love during the first act! It had action, levity, drama, everything I look for in a show, plus the two main characters are two strong girls, and both in different ways. Let's take a...

The King of Queens is a sitcom. The show stars Kevin James, Leah Remini, Jerry Stiller, Nicole Sullivan, and Patton Oswalt.

The Plots:

The show is about Doug Heffernan and his wife Carrie. Doug is a fun, but troublemaking IPS worker who has lots of arguments with Carrie. They live with Carrie's immature dad, Arthur Spooner. The 3 of them have goofy adventures with Doug's friends.

Although Doug and Carrie fighting in every episode could seem tiresome the show is so goofy that it remains funny instead of being tiresome. The antics of Doug and his buddies is pretty entertaining.
The show has 9 seasons so there are a few weak episodes, but the show is usually quite good.

Characters:

Doug is the funniest King of Queens character. He's so eccentric and does such goofy things that he's constantly funny. His goofiness combined with Carrie's lack of tolerance for antics equals a good pair. Also Arthur and Doug's friends are all entertaining characters.

With the return of Showtime's HOMELAND, fans find the thrilling spy tale back on American soil for Season 6.

I like two TV Game shows They are Wheel of Fortune where contestants spin a will with money and prizes then they call a letter if the letter is in the puzzle you get the amount of money. There are bankrupt wedges if you land on that in a round you lose your money that you earned from calling letter correctly. You can buy vowels. there are 4 rounds and 3 tossups. the contestant with the most money by the end of the last round gets to the to the bonus round with in that case they will spin a more smaller wheel. The spin and pick out the puzzle out of the wheel. The contestant will give it to pat and he well tell you the theme of the puzzle like phrase or before and after. in the puzzle some of the letter will appear. Then the contestant will pick 3 consonant and 1 vowel. after or if any of the letters are pick. The contestant will have 10 seconds if they get it corrected they win the amount of money that is in the prize wedge that they picked from the wheel. If they didn't solve it. they still get the amount that they won from the regular round. The other game show that I watch is Jeopardy where 3 contestant pick from 5 different categories. in the categories are clues that are...

'RUNOFF' from Ben Krompak
Whether your candidate won or lost, the recent Presidential Election has certainly grabbed everyone’s attention. It was certainly a high stakes drama.

Now, political strategist turned filmmaker Ben Krompak hopes to capitalize on that momentum with a preview look at the pilot episode of his new scripted series link

Krompak has worked for years as a pollster and strategist, including on Bernie Sanders’ recent Presidential campaign. So, it's probably safe to assume this new satirical drama will shed some light on what voters are really thinking, feeling and voting for.

Who knows, “RUNOFF” might even offer some insight as to how all those prediction experts got the real-life election so wrong.

Ben Krompak recently took some time to answer a few questions:

Give us a glimpse at your new project “RUNOFF.”

BK: “RUNOFF” is a satirical drama about a City Council election between a vulnerable incumbent and a political newcomer whose ‘law and order’ message is catching on with white voters. It’s an original digital series that...

I am out-ragged!

Oh, goody, let’s hear this…

I was watching Nickelodeon, when I saw that they were cancelling Sam and Cat-

That was probably because of the actors getting older or something. Otherwise, I promise they would've beat it into the ground.

the last hope I had of reviving ICarly and Victorious.

I honestly don’t care if Victorious or iCarly is brought back, I just want those re-runs, considering those shows aren't on Netflix, because of some incident that happened with Netflix and Nickelodeon.

They made a whole EPISODE about how much pain fans go through when they cancel a show.

And you sent them an ANGRY LETTER QUOTING THAT EPISODE. OOH, YOU’RE SO CLEVER.

And now they’re doing just that, on Nickelodeon’s best idea, Throwback Thursday.

I do like the idea of Throwback Thursday, to be honest.

Talk about a big slap in the face! When Nickelodeon cancels a show, they wipe it out of existence.
