Chapter 7 ; An hourglass we can't rewind

"It has been a month", Red said. She and Snow were walking now near snow-covered mountains. So it was a lot colder.
"Huh?"
"It's been a month since we left the dwarfs. I think we should consider actually, oh, I don't know, coming up with a plan of what to do next", Red pointed out.
"What is there to be done?" Snow asked and turned to look at Red.
"You could take on that sister of yours. Demand the crown for you, get back the kingdom. Or.. well, whatever you want. I'm just saying, that for a plan, this is a really poor one."

Chapter 6 ; I can't help feeling we could have had it all

“Snow”, Snow was shaken awake by Red. They had made a camp in the woods, far, far away from where they’d left off after their encounter with the Huntsman.
“What?” Snow muttered as she got up. It was still pretty dark, it was really early in the morning.
“I think we should get going”, Red said. She was packing their stuff.
“Already? It’s still dark. You’re being paranoid”, Snow muttered and turned to her other side and closed her eyes.

Chapter 5 ; What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

“Eric, do we a favor, will you?” the Evil Queen asked. They were in the garden, and Eric was standing a bit further from the Queen, looking into the distance. But as she spoke, he turned to look at her.
“Go to the west side of the castle for me today”, the Queen said.
“That’s where your men are. Your soldiers and huntsmen”, Eric said.
“Yes. I’ve decided to do something about this problem of mine with Snow White. So, find my best Huntsman and bring him to me”, the Queen said.

Chapter 4 ; You treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough

It was around noon, and Snow White was just outside the dwarf’s cottage, ready to shoot a deer. She was pointing her bow and arrow at its direction, but just as she was about to let the arrow go, Red pushed her a little, and she turned to look at her.
“Your aim is terrible today. Have I taught you nothing in these past few weeks?” Red groaned and grabbed the bow and arrow from Snow and took a good position and let the arrow go. It hit the deer and it fell to the ground.

Chapter 3 ; This is the storm before the storm

"Come on, now, don't move", Red Riding Hood was pointing her arrow at a dear. It was early morning in the woods, and Red could walk more freely, because the ground was wet, so she wasn't that likely to scare the dear away with her steps.

And then, just as she let go of the arrow, and it shot towards the dear, she heard a crack and as she looked back to the dear's direction, it was gone, and her arrow was pointing out of a tree.

"Oh, damn it", Red muttered and walked to the arrow, took it out and looked around for the noise-maker.

Chapter 2 ; Everything’s gone, but the pain carries on

Perhaps she was now far enough… Maybe she could stop running.

Red Riding Hood took the deepest breath she ever had in her entire life and sat on the nearest rock she could find in the forest. It was getting dark. Red glanced at the dried blood on her hands. She didn’t regret what she’d done. Not even one bit. She’d done it to protect the people she loved.
But that didn’t stop her from breaking into tears in the dark forest.
