Paul knew that he couldn't hide anywhere where there were people around. If anyone saw him, the word would be out and everybody would know where he was. And his mates wouldn't get worried and come looking for him. Paul was going for somewhere more deserted - an area of forest not too far from his place. The still-falling snow erased his footprints as soon as he made them. The night was very cold, colder than Paul had expected. He had packed only a little food for his stay. But Paul pressed on. He couldn't give up and go back to bed. He had made up his mind, and he was going to see his plan through.
Up ahead, Paul could see the dim outlines of the trees. At least it would be sheltered there. He pressed ahead, to where he would be making his home for the next few days. Or however long it took for his mates to come and find him.
It was nearly ten o'clock the next morning, and the atmosphere in Abbey Road Studios was tense, as usual. Ringo kept getting up and sitting down again, and George sat in a corner and frowned. John was on top of the amplifiers entwined with Yoko, and neither of them seemed to notice that there was anyone else in the room. No one was doing anything; everyone was waiting for Paul to come in and demand why they weren't doing anything.
The minutes ticked by, and still no sign of Paul. "Where is he?" Ringo wondered out loud.
George looked up and shook his head. John finally seemed to notice that he and Yoko weren't alone. "Maybe he's not coming in today. At least we can relax now."
"Yeah, but - why hasn't he come in, if he knows we're just relaxing?" Lately, Paul had been insisting that they record every minute they were at Abbey Road, and the others couldn't think why. Unless the newspapers were right and he just enjoyed being a slavedriver.
Yoko whispered something in John's ear, and he nodded at her. "No, I don't know why we're wasting our time here. Come on, love." He took her hand and left the studio.
Ringo watched them. "Paul's not going to be happy about that," he said nervously.
George shrugged. "I've got some new songs to record. Maybe without Paul around I'll have a chance." He looked at Ringo. "Are you staying?"
Ringo could just imagine what Paul would say if he came in suddenly and found the Beatles running things this way in his absence. "No. I'm going before he gets here and sees all this."
George nodded, but Ringo thought he looked a little hurt as he turned away. He felt bad, but they had all been hurting each other a lot lately. He wondered if Paul needed a break from all this, like he did. But that wasn't at all how Paul had been acting lately. So where was Paul?

Welcome To Hampton Court
George and Laura made it to the Palace at exactly 10 o'clock. "Woah! This place is enormous!", remarked Laura. George replied, "Yep! I've read that this was a popular castle during the Tudor era." Laura said, "Very interesting!" After buying their admission passes, they got a map and studied it for a while. When they have finished, George said, "Let's explore the inside of the castle until 12:30 or 1 o'clock. Then, we will go to the park and gardens." Laura replied, "Sounds like a lovely plan, daddy George! I'm ready!" "Splendid, Laura, darling!", exclaimed George. They then had a fantastic time checking out each and every room of the castle while taking photos all throughout.
