We all have our struggles right? When we go through them we don't automatically think God all the time. When really we need to go to God, we don't. We as humans struggle all the time, we go through so many things, we want at least one person to understand us. We want to feel that we have that someone that is there for us. And if you feel like no one is there for you, there is. God is always there. He may be very strict, he may seem mean, he may seem like he is not there for you, but he is. He loves everybody, even if they choose not to follow him in his ways. He still loves everybody even if they are gay or lesbian. But yes he doesn't approve. But yes, he is there for you no matter who you are. If you go to him he is there. Listening to you, he has his ears open. They are unclogged. Go to him when you are struggling, he loves you.

Those that aren't familiar with Tamar's story will be given some background before I jump ahead. Tamar was a princess. She has at least two brothers, Absalom and Amnon. One night her brother has a servant call her to Amnon's chamber with special bread. So Tamar comes and long story short, Amnon rapes her. She will now forever be disgraced. Absalom, though angry, told her to keep quiet.

-Imagine Tamar: grief-stricken, sobbing, ashes on her head. Her body in a heap on the cold floor. Soot covers her beautiful face and smears the rich colors of her torn robe. Her outward appearance echoes the cavernous darkness in her soul. Hopelessness and death well up in her. She is nothing but a tomb.

The door of her room slowly creaks open. A stream of cloudy sunlight pours through the door. A figure of a man takes form within it. Not Absalom. No, she would recognize Absalom anywhere. Her heart leaps with sickening terror; then the figure steps through the door and His visage becomes clear. Tamar had never seen Him before, yet He looks so familiar. Not frightening. And she should be frightened. No man should be entering her chamber. She should run, but...

Have you ever been called a name for the way you look or act?Have you felt like an outsider?Or that nobody liked you?Well guess what. There is ALWAYS someone you can talk to.Even though you can't see Him.He is the One who made you.God.You can always talk to God about anything. He WILL listen.I promise you he will.Trust me I know.I've been called wierd and I've felt lonely because I was the 'new kid'.But I always knew I had God and I had best friends who are strong Christians who were there for me through every hard time. They've been there for me all the time.God has too.He will never stop loving you.Embrace your differences.Love who you are.And never forget where you come from and who made you.God.
God Bless!<3

Hey I wanted to introduce a new series on a huge topic. I know I don't have all the answers but I can find them out. Everyone has faith no matter what they might say. They might not have faith in the same thing I do but we do.You cannot see wind, but you know it's there. When you reach for the light switch do you think twice about whether or not the light will come on?
To give you a better picture, I want to tell you a story. There was a five year old boy who was in a plane. The plane goes into turbulence. All the passengers are freaking out, except the little boy. The flight attendant asked him why he wasn't scared. The little boy smiled and said, "My daddy's the pilot." The boy knew what the worst thing that could happen was but his faith in his father was unfathomableand unfailing How excited was his father when he heard that his little boy believed with everything that his dad could land the plane, even when the pilot himself wasn't sure if he could. How do you think God feels when we have faith in him? Excited? Overjoyed?

There will never be a time inwhich all people of this earth believe in the same circumstances that are 'advertised' to us throughout this life. However to continue to fight over possibilites that may never be shown to us in our lifetimes is a waste and just turns people more and more so against each other.
There was a girl at my juniour school was raised to be strictly christian, her hair was so long and beautiful, always braided. She wasnt allowed to wear the short uniform skirts that most other girls wore.. she wasnt allowed to watch films that other young people watched.. she felt pretty detached and was bullied harshly for her love of her god. I myself being raised as a buddhist (which i dropped due to my love of a certain novel series, turned my world upside down) i sympathised with her and apporached her. It was quite incredble how she hung to the love for her god and how she wouldnt let anything sway her from her path.. Just like a person wouldnt give up for a brother sister or mother. It all went wrong when she visted my family's house one summer, her parents discovered my family's religion and she was banned from even talking or looking at me.. let alone playing in...
