Last, but certainly not least is Moana. Next article, I'll review the Revival Era as a whole, but I will review this one first. Let's go through this like I always do.
Now, I've only watched this movie twice, because I haven't been able to purchase the DVD to watch it yet. But I have watched it at a friend's house a few days ago, so I have a fresh memory on it.
Since it was first announced that there would be another Disney Princess movie, I was excited. The closer to the movie it got, the more excited I became, and when I finally did watch the movie, I loved it. It was really...
So here we have my second to last individual review on this era. I actually am excited for my over all review of the era, but I need to do my last two reviews. Anyway, enough of that here's the review of Zootopia.
I'll be completely honest with you, when it was first announced, I thought it was going to be stupid. Then, I only have a very vague description of it- a movie about a city with talking animals. However, the more commercials I watched the more interested I became and wow! I was impressed! It was such a great movie!
Finally! After this, I have two more movies left to review and I'm going to review the era as a whole! But here, we have Big Hero 6.
The first time I watched the teaser trailer I just about peed myself laughing, and the commercials just got better and better. I was extremely excited to see this movie, and I was not disappointed. It turned out to be one of my favorite Disney movies!
I thought the characters were really likeable, and Hiro is my favorite Disney character ever! I found Baymax reey cool, Tadashi is okay. Although I didn't feel that Professor Callaghan...
Frozen is a Disney animated film that's insanely popular. This review is about the things in Frozen that I don't like and the things that I enjoy.
Since I like being optimistic the cons comes first so I can move on to the good stuff.
* Queen Elsa is a pretty uninteresting character. I know that several people love her and that's totally cool, but she doesn't appeal to me. Because her scenes are so dramatic I didn't have fun when she was around. She has perfectly good reasons to be serious, but it hurts the fun of the film. However I do really like her fight scene with the Duke of Weselton's...
So here's the most talked about movie in Disney's Revival Era, actually, probably in Disney History. My opinion on it is kind of mixed as you will see in this review so, bare with me.
The very first commercial I was just meh about, but the more the commercials came out and the more people talked about it, I was really excited. I know when I first watched it I was a bit underwhelmed. I mean, I really enjoyed it, especially the sisterly relationship, but I don't think it was a flawless masterpiece. But let's be honest, most movies aren't.
So this is the third review I've done on this club, which means after this leaves Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia and Moana. But right now we will focus on Wreck it Ralph. I will do the same categories as the other two reviews.
This movie, I was actually really interested and excited to see, and although I wasn't blown away, I certainly wasn't disappointed either. From the first commercial I saw, I knew it would be a really creative plot, and I was right!
In my opinion, the characters wasn't the best part of the movie, as I found the whole universe more interesting,...
Hey! It's me again! This is my second review, as I am going to review each movie in the Revival Era. The first was The Princess and the Frog and now I'm reviewing Tangled!. This movie is actually pretty popular, but anyways here we go:
When I first saw the preview for Tangled, I wasn't particular excited, but I also didn't get that into Disney until my teenage years, which was a few years later. However, I was genuinely surprised of how much I enjoyed it. I thought it was a great movie, and I still find myself watching over and over again.
Hello! This is WinterSpirit809, and I want to review each of the Disney Revival Era movies, starting with the one that officially kicked off the era The Princess and the Frog, which was released in 2010. I know this movie has gotten mixed reviews, though I know Tumblr loved it, but I don't like to use Tumblr as an example too much, because it's just so...Tumblr. But here is my personal opinion on it.
The commercial and the movie came out when I was around nine, so it's hard to remember how I felt about watching it. I remembered it being one of those things I wanted to watch,...
My current icon might be a clue...that I'm going to count the movies since TPatF.
Walt Disney Animation has been on a roll for the past several years, and for me, none of these recent movies has disappointed. I'm a fan of most of them, and today I'm going to be counting down my favorites of the era. This is not a list of which ones I think are the best; these are the ones that I personally get the most enjoyment from watching and those that stick out the most in my mind.
8. Winnie the Pooh, 2011 While I thoroughly enjoyed the studio's two previous films, I didn't see a need to check this out in theaters. Even so, I was curious about it and caught it online within a year of...
As a way to kick off the club, I present this guide to the films of the Disney Revival Era. *Updated 03/03/18
Contentious There is no doubt that Disney has been on a hot streak for the last few years, but discussions about which film started it all are common among Disney fans today. The following three films are sometimes considered part of the era, but this is subject to debate.
Meet the Robinsons (2007) Walt Disney Animation Studio's second all-computer animated film Meet the Robinsons was released in 2007. It was something of a financial disappointment, but it fared a little better with...
