The Hunger Games Depressed

Hey,
I just read the series again. And now like the last times I am kind of depressed. Now I want to know if other people feel the same way.

should I lock the books away and never take a look at them again?
I mean everthing big that happens is bad and its getting worse.
there are just few happy moments which are right away ruined by something horrible.
Just the idea is brilliant but its so sad.
are there other perspectives which maybe change my mind? I need help!

I had to come up with a fake ending to fix my depression. Just pretend Beetee makes a time machine and they go back and save Finnick,Prim,Madge and Cinna.

Same here. The end was a little depressing. I'm sure they lived happily ever after though.
Just remember the book is fiction so you can imagine it happening any way you want to.

To follow up, here is the real ending...

1 - Gale + Katniss maried with kids
2 - Pita, the eloquent hunger games celebrity and war hero runs for president and wins.
3 - Katnis kills Coin exactly as happened in the book (This was the best scene in the series!)
4 - Prim does not die.
5 - Katniss does not vote for more hunger games! What's up with that???

Bhause- check out the last page of the 'Mockingjay' forum on this site. Some other people and I were talking about why Katniss voted yes for 1 last Hunger Games.

And Katniss should have ended up with Peeta, just saying(:
