Preview; Heather and Joe-Twins
I was five when it happened. When I lost my twin brother, who also happened to be my best friend. At first, I didn't understand what was going on, but after time, I realized I would never see my brother again. Kevin and Nick were my brothers, but it wasn't right without Joe there. He was a part of me.
Sometimes I still think of Joe, when I'm writing a new song, or when I take a walk in the park. I especially think of him whenever we travel to Arizona or New Jersey. We were born in Arizona, and raised in Ne Jersey. Both special places.
I never, ever believed that Joe was dead. I got it through to myself that I would never see him again, except maybe one day in eternity. It was a hard thing for a six-year-old to do. But my family was there for me; we were there for each other.
My name is Heather Denise Jonas. Yeah, that's right. I'm the lead singer of the Jonas Band, which consists of me, my older brother Kevin, and my younger brother Nick.
Joe and I used to sing together. When we were little. We still have family videos of it, too. But I never watch them. It's too painful to think about Joe sometime. Even though he could be annoying, I still loved my brother.
I just hoped that wherever he was right now, he was okay.

My first memories came when I was around six years old. Everything before that is blank. No memory at all. I find that strange, and I also find it strange that my Mom and Dad don't have any baby pictures of me.
They have pictures of me older brother and sister, Jacob and Lesley. Heck, they even have pictures of my cousins when they were babies. But not me.
I've always felt that my parents loved Jacob and Lesley more than me. They just...connected better with them. never belonged, anywhere. And if I did happen to get accepted, I would just screw it up with the stupid things I often say or do. Sometimes I just can't help myself.
But one thing I love is to make people laugh. Because if they're laughing, at least they're paying some attention to me. It makes me feel like an actual human being.
I'm an actor. My mother started me in it when I was seven years old. Now that I'm eighteen I've performed in a couple of movies and tons of commercials. It's something I love doing, besides making people laugh. I can sing too, so that's a plus.
Ever since I can remember, I've always felt like a part of me was missing. Why did my whole family have light-colored hair and eyes, and my DNA called for me to have darker features? Did God just want to make me more of a misfit? Sometimes I wonder if I'm even related to these people.
My name is Adam Joseph Richards, and I'm lost.
Chapter One; Energizer Bunny
Heather's POV
"Thankyou!"I yelled into the mic.
"Now. This is the song where we let Heather rock out. Shake off some energy,"Kevin smirked,"so get ready."
Then Nick started chords to the beginning of the song. I clapped my hands above my head, encouraging the crowd to do the same.
(A/N: bold is Heather, italics is Nick, and underlined is Kevin)
I woke up on the roof with my brothers,
There's a whale in the pool with my mother,
And my dad paints the house different colors.
Where would we be if we couldn't dream?
And I know we get a little crazy,
And I know we get a little loud,
And I know we're never gonna fake it,
We are wild, we are free,
We are more than you think, so call us freaks
But that's just the way we roll.
You've got moves, I've got shoes,
Let's go dancing.
Pop and lock, battle dance against Hanson.
If we lose all the girls, they'll be laughing
Where would we be if we couldn't dream?
And I know we get a little crazy,

And I know we're never gonna fake it,

But that's just the way we roll.
'Cause we're old enough to know
We're never letting go,
'Cause that's just the way we roll.
And I know we get a little crazy,
And I know we get a little loud,
And I know we're never gonna fake it,
We are wild, we are free,

"Thankyou Chicago!"I yelled into the mic, totally out of breath. Kevin looked over and raised an eyebrow at me. Okay, so maybe I did go a little overboard, but I loved to sing. And it was almost the end of the show, anyway. We had one more song to go. The crowd cheered loudly when the song started.
One day when I came home at lunch time
I heard a funny noise.
Went out to the backyard to find out
If it was one of those rowdy boys.
Stood there with my neighbor called Peter
In a flax capacitor.
He told me he built a time machine
Like one in a film I've seen, yeah-
He said I've been to the Year 3000,
Not much has changed
But they lived underwater,
And your great-great-great graddaughter
Is doing fine, doing fine.
He took me to the future in the flax thing
And I saw everything.
Boy bands and another one,
And another one, and another one.
The girls there with round hair
Like Star Wars, float above the floor,
He told me he built a time machine,
Like one in a film I've seen, yeah, whoo!
He said I've been to the Year 3000,
Not much has changed
But they lived underwater,

Everyone bought our seventh album,

We ran across the stage like lunatics, touching people's hands, then we all joined hands in the middle of the stage and bowed. An old tradition.

"That. Was. AMAZING!!"I yelled when we got back to our tour bus. My energy level was still high. Kevin covered his ears; he on the other hand, looked exhausted. Nick rolled his eyes slightly.
"Don't you ever get tired? Your like the freaking Energizer Bunny,"Kevin laughed.
"Of course I get tired. In the morning, when I'm sleeping,"I grinned, punching his arm as I ran back to the bathroom so I could get the first shower. We were going to be on the road all night tonight.
Soon I was out of the shower and picking on my tired brothers.
"Come on, guys, you're boring,"I whined. I wanted to play Truth or Dare.
"It's a stupid game,"Nick chuckled, typing away on the laptop.
"Hey, whatcha doing?"I asked, sitting down beside him so I could see the screen. I pushed him over a bit.
"Updating our blog,"he growled. Grouch.
"Cool. I wanna say something."
"It better not be anything stupid,"he said as he finished typing. I sighed, reading what he wrote.
Hey everyone!
This has been an amazing week already.
We started the week at the White House singing for the White House Easter Egg Toss. We had a private tour of the White House and met the President's wife, Mrs. Bush. She was amazing!!
We sang some of the new songs from our CD coming out August 7th on Hollywood Records. The response blew us away. It rocked. We performed tonight in Chicago. It was amazing, the crowd was really energetic.
We are adding shows everyday for the summer. More coming.
Next week we are off to Orlando to perform for the DC Games. Hope we see you there!!
The CD is done and it sounds great.
Can't wait to see you all again on the road.
Thanks for everything
JB
Kevin, Heather, and Nick
I smiled, then started typing.
P.S. (this is by Heather)
Hey guys, just wanted to chat some! Hope you guys are having a great start of the weekend. I know we are!
The crowd tonight was one of my favorites! I can't wait to meet the rest of you guys. Well, even though most of you are girls and come to see Nick and Kevin, lol. (I'm still the coolest Jonas)
Well, just wanted to say hi!
Love,
Heather :)
I let Nick review it. He nodded, muttering 'whatever' when I clicked the 'submit' button.
"Why don't we play Truth or Dare?"I asked.
"Because Kevin and I are tired,"Nick yawned,"and I have a song I have to work on."
"You guys are no fun. Where's Frankie?"
"Asleep. His bedtime as like, two hours ago,"Nick said as he stood up, stretching.
"Oh. Well, where's Kevin?"
"Shower."
I huffed as he walked off, crossing my arms. I so wasn't tired. Red Bull could carry me a long way. Mom soon walked in with Dad.
"Hey sweetie,"she smiled, brushing my hair back out of my face,"you guys did great tonight."
"You didn't think I overdid it?"I grinned.
"Maybe a little,"Mom chuckled,"but the crowd loved it."
"People were screaming where I was at,"Dad laughed.
"Cool,"I giggled.
"Ready to go to bed?"Mom asked.
"Noooooo,"I whined, rubbing my eyes.
"You'd better. We're going to have a long day tomorrow. Whenever Kevin gets out of the shower, you need to get readyfor bed, okay?"I nodded in silent agreement, a little bummed out, but I knew I'd be thanking Mom tomorrow.

Adam's POV (Joe)
"Are you serious?!"I exclaimed, freaking out.
"Yes,"my parents smiled. I pretty much flipped out. I didn't think I'd get the part; I mean, the video I sent in was pretty crappy, and Disney had asked for another but I never got around to it...wow.
"This is great!"I yelled. Mom and Dad laughed, then left me in my room to celebrate.
I, Adam Richards, had just gotten a main part on a new Disney Channel Original Movie. I would be playing an overconfident popstar, Shane Grey, in the movie Camp Rock.
After awhile, I decided to call my girlfriend, Lizzie. She would be so excited.
"Hey babe,"I said cheerfully when she answered.
"Hey Adam, what's up?"
"Guess."
"Hmm. I dunno...you cut your hair?"
"No,"I scowled. I would never do that.
"Umm...your parents bought you a hippopotamus?"
"Wrong."
"Your brother got abducted by aliens."
"I wish."
"Oh, come on, Adam, just tell me,"she pouted, causing me to grin.
"I got the part in the new Disney Channel movie!"I exclaimed.
"You're kidding! That's awesome!"
"I know!"
"Where are they shooting it? And when?"
"Umm, this summer, it will be around four weeks of shooting. And, oh, about an hour north of Toronto. So it's not that far away! Maybe you could come visit me on set sometime!"
"I'm so happy for you,"she laughed,"this is awesome."
"I know, and-"
"Adam?"
"Uh, yeah?"
"I gotta go. Mom needs me. But call me tonight, okay?"
"Okay, love you."
"Love you too."
I hung up, my body still shaking with excitement. This was going to be the best summer ever!
A/N: I do not own the Jonas Brothers, Year 3000, That's Just The Way We Roll, Camp Rock, Disney Channel, the Energizer Bunny, or the first part of the blog. If I did, Kevin Jonas would be my boyfriend, I would be a millionaire since I owned Disney Channel, and I would sing JB songs with them while having the Energizer Bunny as etertainment onstage. And I would write blogs with them :) I guess. I do own Heather Jonas as an original fictional character.
Chapter Two; I Know He's Alive
Heather's POV
'Now if she does it like this
Will you do it like th-'
The Metro Station ringtone got cut off when I answered my phone.
"Hey girl hey,"I said in a high pitched voice. I got a snort of laughter from the other end.
"Yeah. Real funny,"I rolled my eyes, then laughed myself.
"Hey Heather. Wassup?"
"Not much, Andy,"I chuckled at my best friend. She was amazing.
"Of course. Only touring around the country, that's it, right?"
"Bingo. Next week I have an audition, though."
"Oh, for what?"she asked, curious.
"A new DCOM. I'm nervous,"I frowned.
"Hey, turn that frown upside down!"she exclaimed.
"How did you know I was frowning?"I asked, puzzled.
"I just know you. You'll do fine, you always do. Then I'll get to brag that my best friend i on Disney Channel."
"Umm, Andy, incase you haven't noticed, I am on Disney Channel."
"You are?! That's AMAZING!!"
We both laughed, trying to stop, and finally calmed down after about a minute or two.
"Then, after the audition, I'm coming to visit you!"I squealed.
"That's great! I can't wait! One two more weeks,"Andy sighed.
"I know, I know,"I smile as my Mom came up to my bunk. 'Inerview,'she mouthed to me. I nodded.
"Hey Andy?"
"Yepp?"
"I gotta go. Another interview or something. I'll call you back tomorrow."
"M'kay, later,"she hung up.
I jumped off my bunk, getting ready for whatever it was we were doing.

Adam's POV (Joe)
I knocked on Lizzie's front door about 5 times. Her brother answered the door.
"Hey Adam,"he smiled, giving me a high five.
"Hey Ryan,"I smiled back as we walked through the livingroom. They were watching baseball; Ryan and Lizzie's dad. I said hello, and Mr. Eakle nodded in acknowledgment. I shrugged as I walked upstairs to Lizzie's room. I knocked twice, waiting for a 'come in' before I opened the door.
She smiled as she looked up and saw me.
"Hey Adam,"she greeted me. She was laying stomach-down on her bed, feet dangling over the side as she read a book. I laid down beside her, resting my chin in my hands.
"Whatcha doing?"I asked, pretending to read. She looked over at me.
"Don't pretend to read; I know you're not,"she half-smiled, then sighed.
"Hey what's wrong?"I frowned, stroking her long, dark brown hair out of her face. It waved slightly over her shoulder.
"Umm, nothing,"she muttered, looking up at me with sad hazel eyes. I frowned again.
"Don't lie."
"Well.."she started off awkwardly,"I'm just gonna miss you when you're gone."
"Oh,"I stated, understanding now. "Come here,"I opened my arms up towards her once I rolled over on my back. She chuckled slightly, but got closer and rested her head on my chest. I sighed in contentment.
"We can set it up where you can visit sometime. And I'll call everyday. Promise. I'll miss you even more."
"I doubt that,"she poked my stomach. I flinched slightly, ticklish. She grinned.
"So...wanna go out for icecream?"I asked after a moment of snuggling.
"Yeah!"she exclaimed, eyes lighting up immediately. I laughed as we got up and headed out to my car for Dairy Queen.
BITTWBITTWBITTWBITTWBITTWBITTW
Kevin's POV
I whistled as we walked back to the tour bus from our interview, when I felt something, or someone, rather, jump on my back. Heather. I quickly grabbed her legs so she wouldn't fall and hurt herself, which was common for Heather.
"Why are you on my back?"I asked calmly. She giggled.
"I didn't feel like walking; I'm tired."
"Uh, yeah, you should be after last night,"I replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Heather really overdid it. But, she was completely devoted to anything she did.
"Sure. I'm just too lazy to walk."
I sighed, but made her get off before we got on the tour bus. She whined, but got off anyway.
That night at dinner, Heather was extra talkative. Of course, I was too, which annoyed Mom to no end because we would both start talking at the same time. I got excused from the table, getting my guitar out and ready for the soundcheck. After awhile of playing, I finally decided to put it away. On my way there, I spotted Heather looking at our family albums. I set my guitar aside.
"Hey. What are you doing?"I asked, sitting next to her. She shrugged, flipping the page. It was pictures of her and Joe when they were toddlers.
"I miss him,"she sighed.
"I know,"I put an arm around her,"so do I."
"Sometimes I wish it was me they took,"she bit her lip. I frowned.
"No, Heather, don't say that. We love you. We love Joe too, wherever he is. But we need you, Heather."
She looked up at me.
"You think he's still alive?"she asked. I nodded, and she smiled.
"Me too. I know he's alive."
Chapter Four; I Got It!
Heather's POV
"I can't believe you did that!"I gaped at Andy, whipped cream covering my face. Andy just laughed at my shocked expression.
"You look ridiculous,"she snorted.
"Ya think?"I asked sarcastically, standing up to go wash my face off. On the way upstairs, I ran into something hard...or someone. I looked up to see Andy's older brother, Ace.
"Oh, sorry,"I immediately blurted out, my face turning red. Thanks to the whipped cream, he couldn't see me blushing. He chuckled.
"It's okay, my bad. Did Andy prank you?"he smiled. I nodded, and he chuckled again as he continued down the stairs. I let out a sigh as I resumed my trip to the bathroom, and finally got the whipped cream washed off. When I came back downstairs, Andy was smirking at me, while Ace was sitting on the couch eating potato chips. I blushed again, and unfortunately, I didn't have my whipped cream coverup.
"Hey Andy, wanna come over to my house?"I suggested. She raised an eyebrow at me, he eyes switching from me to Ace, then back again.
"Sure,"she shrugged, standing up,"I gotta get dressed first though,"she half-grinned, then ran upstairs, leaving Ace and I alone in the livingroom. Well, this was awkward. He smiled shyly at me.
"So, when are you guys back on tour?"
"Uh...we're not sure yet. It depends on how I did on my auditions,"I shrugged, staring at the carpet and running my fingers through it.
"Oh. Well, I bet you did good."
"I guess we'll have to wait and see,"I looked up at him. Our eyes locked for a moment, then Andy came crashing down the stairs.
"Come on, Heather, let's go!"she exclaimed, grabbing my wrist and dragging me out the door. I let out a sigh of frustration as I waved goodbye to Ace.
BITTWBITTWBITTWBITTWBITTWBITTW
Nick's POV
"I missed you,"Kelly told me for the millionth time, the tips of our noses touching me.
"Me too,"I grinned, stealing a kiss as I wrapped my arms around her. She sighed in contentment. We were snuggling when we were interrupted by Frankie running through the house.
"Hey Nick! Hey Kelly!"he waved as he ran past us. Kelly giggled.
"He is so cute."
"Try annoying,"I rolled my eyes,"now, where were we?"
"Hmm...I don't know,"she grinned up at me. I was about to kiss her again when somebody, or somebodys, barged through the front door.
"Nicky J!"Andy exclaimed. I groaned. Heather's friends were crazy. I groaned more as she skipped over and gave me a huge bear hug, smothering me.
"Yeah, I missed you too, Andy,"I said in a blank voice. She raised an eyebrow at me as I put my arm back around Kelly.
"Yuck,"Heather wrinkled up her nose as she looked at us,"let's go up to my room, Andy. Nick, if you need anything, we'll be upstairs. But don't bother to knock, because we won't help you,"she chuckled as her and Andy headed upstairs. I sighed as Kelly buried her head in my chest.
"My house is never peaceful,"I complained.
"I liked it,"Kelly smiled,"I wish I had a family like yours. They're cool."
"Of course,"I nodded,"now, back to where we were,"I whispered, kissing her neck. She laughed, snuggling up against me.
BITTWBITTWBITTWBITTWBITTWBITTW
Heather's POV
"I told you, I don't like him!"I protested as Andy smirked at me.
"Whatever, Heather, I know you better than that."
"Well, you must not, because I don't like him,"I crossed my arms.
"Don't try to lie to me. I saw you blushing. You so like him,"Andy accussed me, and I blushed.
"Ha! Told you!"she pointed at my face,"you can't hide it!"
"Well, maybe I like him a little,"I gave a defeated sigh. She grinned at her victory.
"There! See! Andy is always right."
"Whatever,"I mumbled.
"But I don't see why you like him. He's weird."
"You're just saying that because he's your brother,"I raised an eyebrow.
"Maybe,"she shrugged,"but I still don't get it."
We paused our conversation as the phone rang downstairs.
"I got it!"we heard Nick yell from downstairs, and resumed.
"I don't know...maybe, well...it's stupid, nevermind,"I blushed more. Andy gave me a puzzled look.
"What do you-"she was cut off as Nick knocked on my door.
"Go away Nick!"I yelled. He opened the door anyway, poking his head through and holding the phone out.
"It's for you,"he smiled. He ran back downstairs as soon as I took it from him, no doubt back to making out with Kelly.
"Hello?"I asked as I put the phone up to my ear.
"Hello, Heather Jonas?"a male voice inquired.
"This is her,"I nodded.
"This is Jason from DCOM casting. I just wanted you to know that you got the part."
So, maybe I am a completely irrational person. I screamed right into the phone. Andy gave me a shocked look, grabbing the phone from me and apologizing for my outburst. As soon as she hung up, I caught her in a bone-crushing hug.
"I got it! I got it! I got it! I got it!"I yelled repeatedly, jumping up and down.
"Heather...can't...breathe,"Andy croaked out. I released her as Nick and Kelly came into the room.
"What's going on?"Nick asked, frowning. I hugged him too of course.
"I got the part in the movie!"I finally managed to yell out through my excitement.
"You're kidding,"Nick gaped.
"Nope!"
"That's great!"he exclaimed, hugging me back now. He was excited as me.
Finally, we all got calmed down.
"I can't wait til Mom, Dad, and Kevin are home, so I can tell them!"I smiled. Suddenly Nick's face paled.
"What's wrong, Nick?"Kelly frowned.
"I totally forgot about watching Frankie,"he said in a hushed voice, then ran downstairs, the rest of us close on his heels.
