These are things I love about each greaser in The Outsiders. They all have a special place in my heart and always will. They are all so sweet and all have a trait to them that I absolutley love. So here they are...

Ponyboy- The thing I love most about Pony is that he sees the world differently than most. He makes the best of things even when they seem at there worst. Even though he longs for something better he is content where he's at because of his gang, everyone that loves him. Also beacuse he knows that we all see the same sunset:)

Sodapop- I love Soda beacuse he is such a laid back person and just likes to have some fun. He is always smiling and having a good time. He always wants to help his kid brother and is good at helping people, like Pony. He knows you don't have to drink to have fun you can get drunk on just plain living:)

Two-Bit- I love Two-Bit beacause he knows how to have a good time. He can have fun and be crazy but can also be calm and ready to help anyway he can. He cares a lot about others like how he cared about Pony when he wasn't feeling too good. I find him funny and I think everyone else does too. He has such a free spirited soul and also likes to watch some Mickey Mouse:)

Steve- Steve is a fun person and likes to work on his cars. He can be a little short with people sometimes but still can be understanding too. Also he likes to stomp the Socs:)

Darry- Darry is a good man trying do his best and take care of his brothers the best he can. He works one job and still manages to make sure his brothers have what they need. He gets short too sometimes but only because he has a lot on his mind. I mean I would too if I had to take care of two brothers, keep a job, and still manage to keep a roof over their heads. He is a good person and loves the gang very much. Also he makes a mean chocolate cake:)

Dally- I love Dally because well he's hot and because he knows how to help people. " Get tough like me and you won't get hurt." He teaches them all about everyday life and how to live it right. Even though he seems tough he has a soft spot for the gang, especially Johnny. He can't and couldn't live without Johnny. He was Johnny's hero and Johnny was his everything. Dally was gallant and always will be:)

Last but not least...
Johnny- I love Johnny because he was so sweet and gentle. He had a rough life and still got through it all. Even though he felt lousy and a failure at life he couldn't ask for anything better than the gang. If he didn't have the gang he wouldn't know what love is. He also was a hero himself for saving those kids with Pony. I believe he thought that when he saved those kids from the fire he gained back some of that innocence he lost in his 16 years of life. I just wished he would have realized that he was more than what his parents brought him out to be. When they put them down they lowered his self-esteem and he felt he was worth nothing. But he was he was a great person inside and out. He just felt like he lost his "Gold" and wanted Pony to cherish it while he still has it.
This is why I live by this saying and will always Stay Gold just for Johnny Cade.
