The Sims 2 Question

Any particular reason why food sparkles?

Every now and again when my Sims prepare food, it'll sparkle. At first I thought it was cool but then I noticed that whenever they eat sparkle foods there hunger goe's up a lot more quickly. So then they end up still eating when they are no longer needing it. Which will then turn my simss fat. Is there any reason why sparkley foods do this and if there is a way to stop it? I don't want chubby sims, it makes them unhappy. :(

it sparkles, because the food is amazing and it satisfies your motives. lol, i didnt know sims could get fat! i play the ps2 version! anyways, if you dont want fat sims, make a boring food with original ingredients. maybe generic ingredients?

Thanks for answering, I been waiting so long for a answer. I recently learnt that spakle food means fresh food. So whenever my sims cook fish or uses veggies they grew in the garden they'ed sparkle. I just avoid using these now and just sell them. Yes, sims can get fat. If a sim is still eating while there hunger is full, it goes onto there weight and eventually grow a belly. :)

I watch them and when their hunger is full I make them stop and save the rest for later as leftovers...especially if there are kids in the house that can't cook really. But then again my sims are compleatly selfefficant with gardening, fishing, and green engery items
