The idea of going nto the woods, after The Slender Man sounds fun, in its own way, but actually going to?
No.
Hell no.
"Mom," I said nervously as she began packing a bag full of batteries, flashlights, video-recorders, food & water, even extra clothing.
"This isn't a good idea, I'm not going after my best friends killers. What if he gets us?! What if we die?!"
She was just whispering, whispering to me, "Its going to be ok..."
It was bone chilling. As soon as she was packed, she told my father, he agreed to come along, since he was the man in the family.
We stepped outside, each with our own backpack...

Her face was pale, almost as pale as the snow. Her eyes, usually having an expression, had nothing.
Nothing.
"Mom?"
Silence.
"Mom!" I snapped my fingers infront of her face, she jumped and looked at me.
"Emerald," she had a low voice, her small hands on my small shoulders.
"The Slender Man, is not a fictional character. Hes very real, and dangerous."
I've never seen her so serious before.
"Why on Earth would you bring him up...? This isn't like you."
I sighed, and told her about Anna & Melody, the faceless man, who was The Slender Man, the blood, how terrified father was.
