{Koizumi's view}
I woke up with a start, shit. I've had another one of my Haruhi Fantisies. I really needed to get over her. There was no way we could ever work out, and I knew it. I just didn't want to admit it. At all. I rolled on my side with a groan, and sighed. Haruhi was already dating Kyon, so now there was really no way I could be with her. Dammit, why am I always the late one? I closed my eyes slowly, not wanting to wake up again to find that I'd have to repete the constant cycle of keeping this world safe.
I walked into the clubroom the next day, to find Haruhi putting her hair up. Oh that's right, Kyon prefered poiny-tails. She smiled at me. I sighed so quietly that she couldn't possibly hear, and slowly turned my lips upward into my plastic smile to keep her happy.
She pulled the bobby pin out of her mouth.
"Hey Koizumi. I really need your help. Can you go get Kyon for me, he needs to speak with me quickly."
Sure, Miss Suzumiya. Like I really had a choice anyway. I only strive to please you, little do you know.
I nodded and walked out the door. I walked down the stairs to hear Taniguchi laughing with Kyon. I hopped back a few steps, not wanting to be seen.
"...Well yeah. It was amazing. And lemme' tell yah', Making tea isn't the only thing Asahina's good at." Kyon laughed. My eyes widened. So, Kyon decided to cheat on Miss Suzmiya in such a terrible way? I actually thought this would happen. I suddenly felt I'd be dealing with something more dramatic then a closed space tonight. I walked out of my hiding spot.
"Kyon, Suzuzmiya-San would like a word with you."
Kyon's face went pale. He slowly walked up the steps and stalked behind me with his head hanging.
He went into the clubroom, I heard a series of shouts from each person. He came out a while later with beads of sweat on his face. He walked past me quietly, not saying a word. I walked into the clubroom and took my usual spot. Haruhi sniffed, tears rolling down her cheeks. She laughed to herself, the looked at me with a small smile.
"I guess that's the end huh?" She smiled to herself.
"It all turned out for the better, Suzumiya-San," I sighed.
She chuckled again. "I can't believe how stupid I was for trusting him," She said, wiping her tears off with her sleeve.
I sat quietly, not wanting to give out how sorry I really was for her.
Suddenly, Haruhi flung herself into my arms, crying harder. I was careful not to put my arms around her, no matter how much I wanted to.
She cried into my shoulder as I sat, dumbfouned.
"...Itsuki, I'm so sorry." She sniffed.
"For what, Miss Suzumiya?"
She sniffed again. "For not paying attention to you... I really like you and I'm so sorry for confusing you. I thought maybe you'd do something if I went out with Kyon..."
My eyes grew wide again, she was trying to make me jealous? I really wanted to tell her I loved her too, but I had to remember, she's off limits. I tried to hold back tears, but I don't think it was working too well.
What do I do now...?
