House Seymour was very close to House Tudor and had connections to them through Edward Tudor, Jane Seymour's only son. Edward and Thomas Seymour were advisors of Henry until his death. Edward married Anne Stanhope and they had two children (according to roleplay not historically) called Edward and Anne Seymour. After Henry's death, Thomas married his widow Catherine Parr. Jane Seymour was Henry's third wife and according to the King himself 'his one true love'. She was the only Queen out of the six to give him a son. But she fell ill after and died, leaving Henry heartbroken. It took two years for Henry to marry again. The three children belonged to John Seymour. During the time of Anne Boleyn and Jane, there was tension between the two families. Each trying to gain the complete trust of the King. After Anne's execution, it seemed the battle had ended.
House Portly began with Claudia Portly and Jack Portly in Italia. It moved to Hampton Court in London because their children moved there. Starting with William at the age of 19 and his sisters at the age of 13 and 10 when they were being hunted down by the Pope and his advisors. This is because an advisor tried to take advantage of Sophia and William lashed out. They fled to England and started a new life. William became friends with the King and Anthony Knivert. Hector Portly joined them after the death of his wife Madeline, he couldn't cope with their baby George on his own. Maria and Sophia married in England and had children. Hector and William's children moved to England.
