	FlightofFantasy picked Happy, I didn't like her character: I used to love Elena, but she's been getting on my nerves for years now, so damn right! Although Nina is arguably the best actor in the show, so that sucks. posted over a year ago.

Plus, for a longer time I did not like where the show was going, its all bittersweet to me, as for the first two seasons I was completely in love with this show, now I watch it just because I get used to it. To me, it lost its track long time ago, and her leaving is just another remainder of that. At least Dullena will not be the endgame. However it is the best decision tobe made now. I used to love Elena's character in the first 3 seasons, they screw up her character when they turned her into a vampire. Her personality completely changed, vampire Elena is not her real self, and then they screw up Delena too, they were my favorite couple I used to love them very much they had chemistry , passion, desire.. Now It's all: " We're in a complicated situation, No problem let's make Sex!" " If there's no sex, there's no relationship" Sad, but true. Elena's character is boring, so is Delena. And just like @anaswill said, Katherine is not coming back and I really loved her character , Katherine was just the best and even yet they screw up it too, so.. Yeah, that's a good decision. I guess the show is ending, because like her or not she was the show. What is the show going to be about now? 	ItalianAngel89 picked I don't really care about it: I stopped watching the show awhile ago but it's understandable. Elena has been very annoying and unlikable since s4 so I think it's for the best. Maybe next season will hopefully be the last. They not only ruined this character but also what was once a great show. It's because the writers are deliberately screwing with her character to erase her from existence and put shitty boring characters, who have had little to no development as the female leads in HER role.
