There have been 3 Strawberry Shortcake animated shows, but my favorite isn't the first show or the new show. My favorite is the second Strawberry Shortcake show which first came out in 2003.
The Berry Big Plot
Most of the show's episodes involve 1 of Strawberry Shortcake's friends having a problem. They usually have a important lesson to learn which Strawberry Shortcake helps them with. The Pie Man often causes Strawberry Shortcake and her friends more conflicts. Most of Strawberry Shortcake's friends are human females, but there's also Huckleberry Pie (a boy) and Honey Pie Pony.
The show's plots may seem predictable and repetitive, but the plots are actually cute and fun. There's plenty of sweetness and wholesome fun. Please don't expect complexity and super serious story-lines. The show is berry cute and fun.
The Berry Good Characters
Strawberry Shortcake is inspiring, kind, and a very good friend. Her friends are good buddies too. The show's main scene stealers are the villains. The Pie Man is a enjoyably corny arch enemy to the heroes. However my favorite is the insanely cool and fun Licorice Whip. Licorice Whip was only in 1 episode and a video game, but he was great.
The Berry Pretty Animation
The show is very colorful. Strawberry Shortcake, her friends, and enemies are very well drawn. It's by far the prettiest looking Strawberry Shortcake show. The animation in this show looks more natural than the CGI in the new show.
The Berry Catchy Songs
The show's theme song is really good. It's pleasant, cute, and catchy. The show often has catchy songs. My favorite song is Licorice Whip's song. It's 1 of the best villain songs ever.
The Berry Important Overall
Strawberry Shortcake is a sweet, cute, and fun animated show that has enjoyable characters, colorful characters, and catchy songs.
