(Okay, we'll just skip ep. 1, Monster Cash, ok? Don't ask why.) "Well, everyone! As you can see, we have a new camper here on TDA!" Chris says. I peer nervously around his shoulder. He giggles. "Rebecca." I rolled my eyes. "KiYURie!" I hissed to Bridgette, who was beside me. Chris jumps and turns around. Oops... I dived behind a bush, just in time. Bridgette glared at me. "We nearly got caught!" she whispered. "Sorry." I ducked my head. "Well, it's okay but next time..." We saw a shadow above us. Uh oh... Chris. "Ahem... Ladies, what are you doing here?" "Run!" I hissed to Bridgette, and it's good thing she did, because Chris had one of those new heavy microphone thingies in his hands that could make you lose your consiousness. ***
"Hey, guys!" I waved to the girls. "Where were you?" Leshawna asks. Well, that was a good question. I didn't really know the answer. "Um..." I said. "Bridgette?" Leshawna put her hands on her hips. "Um..." She echoed. Gwen sighed. "Never mind." She shook her head. "I guess..." Heather's voice was too cold to be heard. But I heard it anyway, because I have very good hearing. (LMAO!) Why, why, WHY did Heather always sound so mean? I had always had an irritational fear of mean girls. "CALL TIME IN: 5 MINUTES!" A voice yelled. Ugh, Chris. "COME OUT IN 5 OR, UM... NEVER MIND. BUT COME OUT ANYWAY!" I quickly changed into my fave pale blue and violet outfit, and I had to admit, it looked pretty good on me! The other irls thought so, too. "Wow, girl, you look kuh-ute in that outfit!" Leshawna smiled. The rest of the girls nodded. "You look like a mall shopper. Were those clothes expensive?" Lindsay tilted her head to the side. "Um, sure, this skirt was 300 dollars..." I lied. "Wow! Wanna be BFF's along with me and Beth?" I didn't exactly wanna be friends with a dumb blonde and a wannabe, but then I remembered my commitments. "Sure," I said. "Cool." Beth smiled. "I love your little blue cellphone!"
"Thanks!"
"Wanna go shopping together sometime, new BFF?" Beth and Lindsay said at the same time. Wow. How did they do that? They must really be BFFs! But I'm probably just a tag-along friend or something... oh well... "Is everyone dressed?" asked Gwen. Everyone nodded. "Where's Heather?" "Not here," I said. "Fortunately." Izzy glanced at me with a meaning look.
"You don't like Heather?"
Duh.
"No. Not really," I admitted.
Izzy didn't say anything more.
I glanced away, and my sharp movement made a long lock of dark brown hair fall in my face.
I brushed it away angrily. I decided to change the topic.
"Um... we should be heading out, yes?"
Gwen nodded. "Rebec- Kiyurie's right. Let's go."
"Wait a sec." Leshawna bended over to pick up her cellie. She dropped it into her purse (which, BTW, was gigantic). "Alright, I'm ready."
We started out. I was first in line since I was so eager for the challenge.
As I neared the door, I threw my hands out.
They landed ohe door with a loud THUMP.
"Yeah, the door is tough sometimes."
Leshawna grimaced.
"Ooh, ooh, lemme try!" Izzy screamed excitedly.
She backed up, ran, jumped into the air, and kicked the door. "Ow, my foot!"
Gwen sighed. "I'll do it." She rattled the handle so that it loosened, and pushed.
"It worked! You did it, Gwen!" I hugged my new bestie.
She giggled. "Yeah, thanks."
We walked out, to the craft services tent.
There was Chris, and all the guys.
Bridgette ran to Geoff. "I missed you!"
"Me too, baby!" Geoff smiled, cradeled Bridgette in his arms like a child, and the started kissing.
I, seriously, was grossed out.
I nudged Gwen, beside me. "Ew..." I said, beckoning at them with a tilt of my head.
Leshawna overheard.
"Yeah. They're a cute couple, no doubt, but the need to break apart sometimes!"
And,
Guess who was also there?
Heather, surprise surprise.
Chris started, but Heather said it first.
"What took you so long?"
Every one of the guys nodded.
Except Duncan, I had noticed.
Weird, since he was usually the rebel, the first to taunt someone.
He was staring at me with a sweet look in his eyes that made my mind go BLANK.
"Whoa," I muttered. How did he do that?
I sighed.
Gwen poked me in my right arm.
"Like him, don't you?" She whispered.
I punched her back. "No."
She turned her head away, then looked back at me.
"Really?"
I sighed again.
"No. I like him. But he would never like me back. He's with Courtney."
She smiled. "It's okay." I loved it when Gwen smiled; she had a nice sweet smile, like my mother.
Tears welled in my eyes. I quickly wiped them away, then looked around wildly to see if anyone was looking.
"Okay, enough talk, get on with the challenge!"
Oops.
I had missed the instructions. Everyone was running, so I followed them.
"What?" I whispered to Bridgette when I caught up to her.
"We're supposed to get an alien egg and bring it back there."
"Oh, ok, thanks."
I smiled, then ran off.
I've always enjoyed the feeling of running, adn not to brag, but I was a really fast runner.
I caught up to Gwen and Trent at the front.
"Hey," I gasped.
"Hi." Gwen nodded.
Trent didn't say anything, he just smiled.

There. Wow, this place was creepy!
I glanced at Gwen nervously.
She looked afraid, too.
My feet led me towards one path, I don't know why, they just did.
"Wait!" Gwen called. "Where are you going?"
"I just have a feeling..."
"I'll go with you. Duncan, Trent, come on."
What?! I would have to travel with Duncan?
They came, and Duncan smiled at me.
"Hey, Kawaii."
I blushed and looked away. Gwen looked meaningfully at me.
"Okay, Duncan, you lead, ok?" Gwen looked at him.
He nodded. Gwen and I were at the back.
"Watch out. If Courtney finds out, you're toast."
She giggled. I punched her softly.
"Whatever."
"Girls? Which way now?"
Duncan was looking at me expectantly.
"Um..."
Before I could say anything else, I heard a weird noise.
Chef turned around the corner.
"Hehehe..." He laughed.
He fired his paintball gun at us.
I gasped and clutched Gwen. She looked as frightened as I felt.
