Ivie's POV
It has been a couple of days now and the bracelet still shocks me. I would do anything to get this off my arm. I'm sick of this feeling. Every time I get shocked by this dumb bracelet, I feel as of I have to throw up. And I desperately hate throwing up.
I sat in my bed before the sun was coming up. My room was almost completely dark except for a small blue lights coming from under neath my door. Jabs? It could not be them. What would they be doing here, in the dorms.
I quietly creeped out of my bed and went to the door. I cracked it open and peered out. A jab looked right at me. I stared back, wondering why they were here. I opened the door a little bit more. It made some kind of noise and some more jabs appeared. I quickly shut my door. What now? I am wide awake and there is nothing to do. Plus there is no way out! Except for those passage ways Ian was talking about. I felt a tine hole in the floor. I pulled it quietly open and slipped in. I started wondering around down there. They were very dark! I could barley see fifteen feet in front of me. I climbed a ladder up to another floor. I felt like I had been in this very same exact sport before. This is were Ian found me when I accidentally jumped to down here. I walked a little ways down and slid open a side panel of the wall just a little so I could peek in. It was Ian's room of course. So I had a crush on him, big deal. With Marie and Sadie around he will never notice me. Ian sat up in bed and looked over at the wall. I stayed still hoping he would think he was dreaming. But I quickly realized that he knew he was not dreaming when he got out of his bed.
"Great!" I muttered to myself. "He is going to see me and ask why I am watching sleep!"
I did not want to be caught it was be so embarrassing. I felt my stupid bracelet shock, again.
"Ivie?" Ian whispered as I did not answer back. "I can see that red light around you when that bracelet shocks you!"
I still did not answer. I was mortified that I had been caught. The bracelet was still shocking me and the pain was increasing.
"Ivie, are you okay? Your light that hovers around you has changed to black." Ian said. "Ivie you're okay, nothing to worry about!"
I put my head to the cold floor. I felt as if I was going to throw up. I hoped that I would just black out in stead of throw up in front of Ian.
I felt Ian's arms wrapped my back and knees. He had picked me up. How could he do that, I am so fat!?
"I'm okay." I mumbled. "Just a little pain, just a little."
"Apparently you are not okay!" He said. "This bracelet is causing harm to your body. It is not okay that they can hurt!"
"I have to keep it on. He told me too." I whispered. "Headmaster and Coach told me too. I have to obey them or I'll be sent to West Campus."
"I do not care what they say Ivie!" He said. "I am getting this off you, I cannot stand seeing you in pain. And neither can Gabe, Sadie, or Marie."
"Marie does not like me. She thinks I'm weird." I whisper were he could all most not here me. "They do not like me. Y'all are the three musketeers."
"They do like you!" Ian said as he sat me down on some soft. "Why do you think that?"
"Marie does not like me she knows that I know you somewhat better than she does." I said. "And I think Gabe and Sadie think I'm weird."
"Found some scissors, time to get that thing off of you!" Ian muttered to himself.
"Did you know that Marie likes you? I asked spontaneously. "I have seen the way she looks at you Ian. Oh and Parker thinks you cute too!"
"Nope, they do not. Well Parker, she roes but I do not think Marie likes me." Ian said.
"Let me cut it so it doesn't shock you and I can take the blame." I said. "It is going to be one of heck of q day when Coach and Headmaster find out that this stupid bracelet is off!"
"It sure is." Ian said. "But no more pain!"
