He saved me
He saved me from the lion.
He swept me off of my feet
While swinging on vines and climbing trees.
He talks to animals
Wrestles lions, leopards, and other wild animals
So strong, muscular, and sweet.
I stare into his beautiful dark eyes
I'm a little frightened
But he doesn't seem he wants to hurt me.
He looks at me as if he has never seen another human before.
He doesn't know how to react to a woman.
The thought of anyone finding me just slips my mind.
I just only think of him.
It starts to rain, as we're in a huge tall tree.
The leaves slightly protect us from the rain drops.
My mind starts to become stressful
About what I have been through
I faint as he holds me close.
I awaken in the beautiful sunlight morning
Seeing my hero right there beside of me.
I'm not so scared anymore
But my heart tells me that I have finally found my true love.
He may have messy dark hair
He may only wear a loincloth
But he is so much nicer than my fiance' back home.
I don't care if Mother and Father do not approve of him
But he's kind to me and I can teach him things about my world
As he can teach me about his.
He has shown me so many beautiful sights
The water falls, the flowers, the green life, the kind animals
Though he may not know a lot about romance or relationships,
But he does know how to make me feel happy
I feel real around him.
I feel like I don't need the stuffy tea parties and garden pick-nicks with my friends back home
I just need someone that can understand me and love me
Someone that doesn't care about others
Just someone that follows his heart.
