Chapter Eight: Hello, Stranger Please Don't Betray Me
The guy stood in front of us. We needed to give him answer and fast. He was a spy and he probably knew more then he was letting on. This make sit hard to trust him. Courtney immediately said yes. I gave her a glare and shrugged. Raven was nodding her head as while. It made me think. Were they up to something? Did they know the guy? They could have known him because he goes here for school. Actually, he seemed much older then the rest of us. He had boyish features but he certainly was someone who looks much older then 18.
"Welcome abroad," said Raven. Her usual thin smile was on her face. She rarely smiled and when's he did it was a thin one. That smile had thousands of secrets just waiting to be revealed. "We should leave tonight. Since someone broke in, it would be easier to leave tonight then tomorrow."
"I agree with that 100 percent," said the guy. "Oh and I'm Charles by the way."
"I'm McKenna, this is Raven, Courtney, and Darrell." I said.
"Darrell, you look really familiar. Have you been around Egypt lately?" Charles looked questioningly at Darrell. It made my guards go up and awareness if his every expression was present. He couldn't just go around questioningly the guys on our side.
"Actually, I have, it was for a last minute business call." Darrell stared calmly at Charles. Were they have a nonverbal communication through their eyes. It seems so. Courtney and Raven even picked that up also.
"A business call, huh," mumbled Charles. "I can get the supplies."
"I'll get the directions," announced Courtney. She was obviously glad for the topic changer.
"Then that make me the gal to get a map of this school. It will be easier for us to navigate and find our way out without being seen," offered Raven.
"I will find out the teacher's night schedule so we don't bump into them when making our great escape," I said.
When the meeting was over, I walked back to my dorm with Darrell. Courtney was busy with her computer and Raven was heading out with Charles to discuss the game plan more. It was just me and him, again. Even though I enjoy his company, I really wish we weren't always alone. I have never formed a bond with anyone other then my dad and my old friends. Big groups with tons of people are not my scene. If I am there then I would be hiding in the background waiting for the enemy spy to make his move.
He noticed the awkward silence between us. There was nothing for us to say or do. Tomorrow we would have to be focus more on our escape en each other. It was just that obvious. I wouldn't spend every minute if my life thinking about him. Even thought it seemed like I do that more and more.
When we did reach my dorm room, we just stood in front of the door not knowing what to do next. "So, I guess goodnight," he said abruptly. He swiftly turned around and made his trudge through the woods. Was that how that was suppose to go? I was suppose to feel awkward. He should have kissed me.

I write what i feel and try to
make them seem so-real to
you, but all you want from me
is honesty.
as i write out the facts
you act like you don't really
care where my heart truly is.
Let me tell you where it
is, it's in the honesty of my
poetry, deep inside my heart
it's the only thing that reveals
the emotions deep down inside
my soul.
as i hold onto the emotions
that creates honest poetry
that i write, i see you looking
at my private diaries understanding
who i want to be.
you look at me and you
seem to know what i'm
feeling as i'm revealing
to you the emotions that
comes from within my
soul.
as i hold the key to this
honest poetry that i compose
you seem to believe every-little
detail that i have to say to you.
